Melina's House

Excellent accommodation, clean appartement, and lovely welcoming hosts. Melina and Antonios made us feel like family. During 1st week of our stay, I had food poisoning, and Melina made me the most delicious soup that fixed me quickly. Antonios gave very good tips on places to visit. We will definitely return to visit them again. Thank you for an unforgettable vacation.

We had an apartment on the ground floor with two bedrooms, a living room and a balcony. The rooms are spacious and tidy. The balcony is also spacious. The house is in a quiet place, about 7 km from the city. The owners, Antonis and Melina, and the housekeeper, Irena, are very pleasant, accommodating and kind. Bed linen and towels are changed and the apartment is cleaned more often than usual on trips.

An exceptional venue, amazing hospitality, superb hosts, extremely friendly at an incredible venue. The cleanliness, friendliness, and care offered was second to none. The beach with golden sand, was close by (less than 10mins on foot). Highly recommended.

If you want to experience Cretan hospitality very near to a large and attractive beach with plenty of authentic tavernas nearby and also beautiful walks in the hills with olive groves and Mountain Views, this is the perfect place. Melina and Antonis are such kind and generous hosts who make you feel like old friends. The accommodation we stayed in was comfortable, in perfect condition, very clean and well organised with beautiful views of the sea from the balcony. There was everything we needed for our two week stay and they also lent us beach mat and sun umbrellas so we didn't have to buy them. They gave us helpful advice and answered all of our questions about the area patiently and always with a smile! We were delighted with our stay from every point of view and will be recommending it to friends and family. We also recommend our favourite Taverna, Katsarales which just happens to be the closest! We will be back!

Beautiful place! Cozy, clean, has everything to stay for the holidays, comfortable beds, convenient location. We liked everything in Melina's house and enjoyed our holidays. Nice appartment not too far from the beach with all needed confort ( big bed very confortable, kitchen well equiped if you want to to your own diners, nice bathroom with all what you need). The view on bougainvillers is very nice ( you can see the sea also). the only thing not very nice is the street ( a bit noisy) .When you arrive you get some raki, water and nice little sweets.
