Filia Hotel Apartments

I visited Crete twice last year and stayed in Filia ( twice as well). It is a great place run by very lovely family. Rooms are nice, clean. Food is great. The owners are very nice,friendly and caring people. It’s safe, close to the beach, shops, restaurants. Perfect location.Highly recommend this place to anyone.

Nice breakfast 8am til 11am, we had room 105 looking down at snack bar and children’s pool, can be noisy at night with Billy’s Bar probably 104/105 May the worst if you wanted a early night, probably a good idea to have air con and close doors. Nice pool and entertainment from Billy at the bar, bring soap not supplied room ok ground floor so good disabled access, evening meals are a bit boring but plenty of local restaurants are not far away. Good room service, could do with tables by Sun loungers .

The hotel is spread over two blocks. The main area with reception, bar, restaurant and pool is beautiful. Everything is within easy walking distance even if you're not as able bodied as some. The second block is a bit isolated, especially if you have walking difficulties. Even so, it does have its own pool and bar. The restaurant is exceptional, and the food is excellent. There is a pool side snack bar, and the food is equally as good. The sunbeds are the most comfortable we have ever seen. Also, an important feature is the steps and hand rail in the pool, especially if you are disabled. The hotel is family run, and you are made to feel welcome straight away with a friendly greeting and a free drink at the bar. The pool bar is the hub in the evening with Billy the barman, the centre of things. Many of the guests return, and I can see why. Our only concern would be that the rooms in the second block need some renovation, so we would be happier to stay in the main block nearer to everything if we went again.

Just spent another great ten nights at Filia. Michael. Marina and all the family can’t do enough to make sure their guests are well looked after. Billy ensures that everyone is kept well hydrated and entertained with his mad antics at the bar.We stay B & B basis as we like to go out in the evening . Breakfast is ample with something to suit everyone. Rooms are clean with plenty hanging space, showers are enclosed in two out of the three buildings with plenty hot water Cheta one of the staff is lovely and works hard keeping the rooms cleaned daily with regular towel and sheet changes. Looking forward to returning

Absolutely wonderful place to stay in Stalis. Staff are very friendly and always ready to please. Unfortunately we had to cut our stay short as I fell ill with an ongoing problem and just wanted to get home we were gutted this was our second time here and it’s our happy place . Will be going back as soon as we can .

Recently returned from this hotel. A good hotel great location and has a good pool with great sun beds. Breakfast is the best meal, other meals are ok,snack bar does better food at a good price. Staff are so friendly and will do anything for you. Air conditioning is very expensive so budget this into your holiday cost. Rooms need a little bit of maintenance,not as pictures on various sites. Jet 2 customers seem not to be getting the better rooms as retuning private customers get the pick of the rooms. Billy in the bar can be over the top when the night gets late and he is drunk and crude, which is a shame because it has got a good bar.
