Rivendell Guest House

This little B&B was idyllic! Just what we wanted and needed for a few days away in the scenic St Ives! It was a fabulous location to the town centre and to the train station. The bedroom was very cute and sweet with the most lovely view over-looking the sea! With a wonderful soundtrack of the British seaside (plus the sweetness of the pitter-patter of seagull feet on the roof)! Tracy was so lovely, welcoming and helpful. And the breakfast was just what we needed to set us up for each day! We both had the Vegetarian full breakfasts both days and it was very delicious! Our train wasn't until 5pm the last day so Tracy even stored and looked after our bags for us that day after check-out. Thank you so much again for a lovely few days and we hope to be back in the future!

Excellent B & B in a great location, a short walk to town via steps. Most rooms have a parking space although you do park in front or behind another car. Easily arranged at breakfast though, so not a problem. Tracy is a great host and the rooms are very clean and comfortable. We had room 4 which had a lovely view of the harbour. The breakfast was very tasty and plentiful, with some nice choices. Can't recommend highly enough.

Beautiful B&B, the room was stunning and of a very high quality. A lovely seating area in the room and a quality en-suite with shower. Breakfast was great, plenty of choice all of which was brought to the table and no self service. A great location, close to all the local amenities.

This is an excellent small guest house, expertly run by Tracy and family and spotlessly clean. We stayed in the twin room which was large enough to have two easy chairs and a small side table, as well as a dressing table, bedside tables, very comfortable beds, en-suite with walk-in shower, and all the facilities you would expect in a 4star hotel room. Breakfast choices included fresh fruit salad, a full English (superb sausage!) and a vegi option. Only a 5 - 10 minute walk (including some steps) to the town centre and harbour but away from the hustle and bustle. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay at Rivendell Guesthouse, waking up to the sea view each morning really set us up for the day as did the fabulous breakfast. Our room was very spacious, the bed was very comfortable and the whole house was tastfully decorated with style. Tracy was extremely friendly, helpful and professional. We would definitely recommend staying at Rivendell and hope to visit again ourselves.
