I spent two weeks on the boat. Everything was great, especially the food and the service. The view of the lake and the mountains from the boat was amazing. I highly recommend Wangnoo and will definitely be going back there again. Chris

nice experience. Best selection to stay for families and couples. Nice location and staff are very welcoming. I would rate this hotel more than a 5 star. This is a total value for money. We wish to visit this place again.

Houseboat given was very ordinary compared to what's there in the pictures available online. I even doubt if they have accomodated in some other houseboat. This may be due to over booking done by them. In breakfast poha, omelette and bread only were there which didn't taste well. I strongly don't recommend this houseboat.

We stayed in delux room of Wangnoo Sheraton Houseboat (on Nigeen Lake), Srinagar in September 2023. The room allocated to us was of good size and the entire boat was very beautifully decorated. The food provided was homely and good too. The 'Captain' of our boat, Bilal Bhai was always around and available in case we needed anything, a very courteous and welcoming person. Yousuf Bhai (boatman / rower) took us on a Shikara ride through floating vegetable gardens, bed of lotus and lilies. It was a very calming and scenic ride. We enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking to enjoy a houseboat stay in Srinagar as it's quieter & less crowded compared to Dal Lake. We are thankful for all the hospitality and a warm welcome by Kashmir and the management team.

Very poor houseboat, my request to all members please do not book this houseboat. Food quality bed, mosquito very large and no proper washroom.

Not cleaned, bed sheet dirty, same as blanket, no electricity in morning, no hot water. Terrible experience

Very poor quality rooms at Wangnoo Houseboats, torn blankets, old furniture, third class bathrooms, torn curtains, no water available, no blower, dirty bedsheets, rooms are having bad odour.

extremely rude. The pics that were shown while we booked the boat for deluxe were nowhere even close to what we got; then they said those pics were of super deluxe and said if we gave another t get would give that service! duping the customers. The room was dingy not even a latch to lock the door, no tv, no hot water, decor not the least bit as shown, neither for the room nor for the other areas

Very disappointed with the houseboat stay. The captain, Basher, was very morose and hardly hospitable. Openly asked to be tipped inspite of terrible service. Wouldn't really recommend houseboats..as they don't really help out with luggage and stuff, checking in and out. Need to have personnel to help and make people want to go back. Overall, think twice before booking a night with these folks.
