The rooms appear to be recently remodeled. All new seemed very clean like fresh floors and paint etc.

When we arrived the area around the motel has junk lawnmowers and other trash our door would close but the crack in between u could see in and out,the lamp and ac was connected together so when u are done u have to unplug the lamp from the wall, the bed was homemade bed and the mountain view they portray as beautiful but u can only see through a small area and last but not least the chair on the porch was a legit shower chair!!! Oh and out of all the people living there no1 but one lady spoke english and it wasnt that good. I would absolutely stay away from this motel

I can't remember when i stayed in a room with out a TV. For what it was thd price was to high. Would not stay here again

Beware.
The staff or owners were very friendly. However, the bed was partially unmade, and the place is currently under construction. I can see that they are trying very hard to make it a nice place for lodging however, it is still in the very early stages.

The property is under renovation they didn't even know we were coming. The only service we got was when we got there. No cleaning of the room no extra towels. No coffee maker no hair dryer no shampoos nothing

Never saw the owners, if breakfast was available it was well hidden. Inn is very dated and run down, sheets had holes in them, toilet looks to be falling through the floor and leaning. Remote didn't work well with the TV and wifi was slow. Wouldn't recommend.

My brother and I love riding motorcycles in the mountains. We came upon the Lemon Tree, tired, needing a place to stay, and Curtis was exceptionally welcoming. If you are expecting a five star hotel, keep driving to Asheville. But, if a dated motel in the mountains with exceptional hospitality and character, albeit some spiderwebs, is to your liking, you will enjoy yourself. We were on our bikes and it was raining. Curtis offered us his beautiful Cadillac to drive to dinner! The Lemon Tree is about more than the rooms.
