Here we go again. Drove up from Texas to Missouri again to see my grandchild and the Battlefield Inn was the first stop on the list. As always, Rita welcomed me with a beautiful smile and my room key. I see some poor reviews here about the Battlefield Inn but if you really are on a budget and willing to give up a few luxuries this is the best "bang for your buck" you will find in Springfield, Missouri. They don't serve a free breakfast but there are so many restaurants within a 5-minute drive on Glenstone ave. I will be right back here in December to see my grandchild for Christmas and I will be staying here once more. The property is old but the rooms are CLEAN and that's important to me. I have stayed at this motel two times in the past 12 months. There is nothing fancy about this place but if you are looking for an affordable nights stay in Springfield, Missouri, then stay here. The front desk owner is Rita, and she is awesome. She accommodated me and my disabilities by assigning me a room that worked out great for me. This motel is very close to everything especially Mercy Hospital which is where my grandchild was born and has a clean and friendly swimming pool area. As promised, Rita gave me a wake-up call every morning and her husband was just as good with the service. I will definitely stay here again. Brian C.

Battlefield inn is an excellent and friendly Weekly stay above the rest! The price is very reasonable and the owner owned/operated staff are AMAZING! Only thing that could honestly make it a little bit better would be a mini breakfast bar. Then they would have no competition in Springfield.
