We stayed at Becketts while traveling from London to France. The staff has been so prompt in responding to messages and taking great care with customer service. If you enjoy lovely hosts and simple accommodations that are clean and well appointed in a great area, you too will enjoy a stay with Becketts. ❤️

So good we came back ! Becketts is friendly and welcoming. It is ideally located for Portsmouth and Southsea, where there is plenty to see and do in any weather. The rooms are comfortable, stylish and very clean, great breakfast and lovely bar too. Highly recommended.

A one night stay to meet up with friends. We had a pre-arrival phone call to ensure we knew where to park etc. A nice touch which made us feel valued The check-in was simple (although the couple just ahead of us slowed the process as an incorrect room had been allocated) most importantly it was warm and smiley. Our room (No1) was at the front of the building with a bay window and wooden panelling. Superb big comfy bed and pillows, small but perfectly formed bathroom - very hot water. In-room tea and coffee with biscuits Breakfast is a buffet of fruit, pastries, boiled eggs (cooked by yourself to your liking) cereal, yoghurts, bread and choice of hot bacon or sausage baps (veggie option too) Choice of coffee / tea. The whole building is industrial in décor, with nice touches of glass, artwork and an iron station on the landing Parking was simple with the RingGo App or cash - we could pay on the app from our room without the need to go out.

It was amazing! It was so homely and cute! The staff were so friendly and helpful! I would recommend thoroughly to friends and family, the bed is so comfy and all facilities were great! Made me feel so at home and safe! I used to live in portsmouth and have had family stay in most of the hotels in the area, and I would say this was one of the top

Warm welcome from Sunny and also with recommendation's for places to eat Also good location for Gunwharf Queys shopping So called continental breakfast questionable, alright if you like blackcurrant jam for your croissant, a few strawberries handful of grapes, bacon or sausage brioche bun, boiled eggs There was a private party booked in one of the nights we was there we wasn’t informed so when trying to get a drink was shoved in the Shame breakfast area which was also being used by some of the party guests £5 can of Guinness !! £6 bottle of beer You can park outside hotel free between 6pm and 8am then you have to pay £13 a day so adding further cost to stay maybe hotel could look into getting some kind of parking permit for guests

Had high hopes for this hotel so were disappointed, the staff who we encountered were lovely but when we encountered a problem and had to change room 3 times the owner turned up not such a nice man, bathroom when using the shower gets everything wet so be careful as extremely dangerous, unfortunately bed was saggy and not comfortable and the rooms at the front are extremely noisy as no double glazing can be installed due to the listing of the building, so I was told by receptionist, I would stay elsewhere if I were you, bad nights sleep.

The photos are not what you get our room was dark small my husband had to use a small bed as the double bed was up against a wall and would not have been able to get out unless he climbed over me, the sheets where the colour black and the towels, the stairs are very steep and narrow ,it has been the worst B&B we have ever been in, there was only one table in dinning room and a lot of junk ,windows waiting to be fixed in, the beds where very uncomfortable very lumpy we wished we had spent more money and went some where better did not sleep very well' the land lady was pleasant.

Big room clean and comfortable, great location. Lady at reception is very helpful and pleasant. It has a lovely garden, with benches and tables and an outside kiosk. You can cross the road and theres a lovely diner for breakfast ,other meals also. We had a early check in as we were going to a wedding that was so helpful.

This was the worst Bed and Breakfast we have ever stayed in, the photos are nothing to what you get, very dark room with black sheets and towels which were very small, the hallway was very narrow a lot of steep stairs not very good for someone like me with mobility problems which they new as I asked for a walk in shower which we got , no room to walk around double bed so my husband had to sleep in a very small single , the beds were lumpy not comfortable at all did not rest very well, the traffic noise was there because the window was only single glassed, cooked Breakfast was ok but did not look appetizing overall i wished I had payed an extra £20 and went to the holiday inn over the road .M
