The Vincent Hotel

Our 2nd time visiting, we decided to have our wedding night here already knowing what a great place The Vincent is, the staff can't do enough for you and the hotel is spotless and well presented, the reception staff are so friendly and genuinely want your experience to be memorable, we booked two extra guests to enjoy breakfast with us from another hotel, what a stunning breakfast they put on with cooked and cold options galore, no expenses spared either with products and quality. The staff in the dining area are super polite and attentive, nothing is ever too much trouble, this hotel is well located and we can't wait to visit again.

Want to say what amazing wedding revenue for our wedding day last Saturday,we got married at st cuthberts church followed by evening wedding reception at the Vincent,brilliant hotel nothing to much trouble,thanks again for making our wedding so special shout out to Jolene and Angelina plus of course there amazing team!!

The Araba Room. Stayed for a weekend in October 2024. Looks great in the pictures however in reality it is a damp, smelly, dark, below street level, boutique cave just off the courtyard, and right next to the courtyard toilets. The paint is peeling off the ceiling due to the dampness, and I even had a visit from a cockroach. My request for another room was met with a “sorry, we’re full”. My complaint and request for a refund or discount was met with silence initially, but when ******* intervened a discount off my next trip was offered - which was derisory and laughable. A hotel room is meant to be a place to relax after a day of sightseeing in Valletta, not a place to suffer in humid, unhygienic conditions. Unfortunately, I had prepaid for my trip, otherwise I would have left. Caveat emptor.

Really disappointed! Went with a wowcher to treat my mum for her 70th Birthday with a spa treatment and afternoon tea. After filling out forms my mum was told she could not have treatments as she had had surgery over a year and half a go for cancer. She ended up just having a pedicure. The girls were very accommodating but I think that this stipulation should be highlighted when purchasing a wowcher from this hotel and I cannot see what the issue would be with having surgery so long ago. The treatment I had was ok but room a little shabby and could do with some TLC around furnishings. Overall I do not think I would return.

Superb hotel, very modern and spotlessly clean. All the staff are really friendly and very helpful. Only stayed for 1 night but would definitely stay again. Breakfast was also really good. The residents bar is very quirky and a lovely set up. Only downside is it shuts early, we fancied a late night swifty but it wasn't open!

I read some of the ridiculous criticisms of this place and was apprehensive about booking, but I did and was very happy about it. Lovely place. Nothing to complain about at all. Very convenient for our teatime at Royal Birkdale. Just a short Uber ride away.

Wow well what can I say -amazing hotel and staff very friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to help me with my husband who has dementia and now in a wheel chair. Hotel room was beautiful over looking the gardens and Lord street. Very comfortable bed. Bathroom had a Japanese bath in. The only thing that was a little disappointing was although the tv was a smart one there was no I player or Netflix. Would definitely recommend this hotel and we will definitely be back

I found my room at the hotel to be very clean and comfortable, especially the bed, but it was so dimly lit in both the room and the bathroom. How is a woman supposed to put her make up on? I had to prop a hand mirror up against the window, not good enough. It’s these little things that cause frustration. My niece, who has stayed there before agreed with me. The breakfast was fine, the staff very amiable so my gripe is a small one, but I am sure most women would agree with me!

Went for a late dinner 8.30 . Food was ok , very expensive and felt like staff were hovering urging you to hurry and go home. There were only 2 other tables at this time and eventually by 9.45 we were the last diners in the restaurant . We felt rushed especially when they added a hefty service charge to the bill which they had hardly done anything to earn
