Really good value for money. We stayed in the twin room cosy en-suite all very clean and presentable. Blackout curtains were a great touch. Emma the landlady was friendly and welcoming. The breakfast superb with lots of choice. A great selection

Emma (Landlady) was so helpful even before we arrived sending information and directions. We had a friendly welcome and chats with lots of tourism advice. Room was clean, comfortable, bright and airy, with a Seaview. Breakfast plentiful, lots of choice and perfectly cooked. We will be very happy to return and to recommend The Moorings B&B.

I highly recommend this bed and breakfast. I’ve just stay for a couple of nights. It’s small and friendly, impeccably clean and an excellent freshly cooked breakfast. It’s very reasonably priced too and a wonderful view of the sea to walk out to in the mornings.

We stayed here for one night , The guest house is perfectly located for everything in and around southend, Parking is free in a car park that’s a couple of minutes walk away Our room was clean comfortable and quite , The breakfast was really nice and there was plenty of choice as well , we would definitely stay again

My wife had booked this B&B for when we were going to see a show at the Cliffs Pavilion, it looked lovely on the website and a reasonable rate, we asked if we could arrive a little earlier then the standard check in time and they were happy for us to do so, which is a bonus as we wanted to get there early to make use of the free car park but it has limited spaces, we was informed that we can collect the keys and let ourselves in and the keys were in a key locker waiting for us, which was a wonderful touch, the room was a lovely good size and well stocked with tea coffee hot chocolate sugar and milks etc even a couple of biscuits, a perfect size little kettle for two, everything was clean and fresh and tidy, a perfect place to lay your head down after a busy day at Southend and ideal after we see our show, the bed was lovely and comfortable and we had a greats nights sleep, the owner was really welcoming and attentive to any needs, we got to choose a time for our breakfast when we arrived, when we woke up and was ready for breakfast we took our seat and the owner came and asked us what we would like and also said about fresh fruits and additional items that what not on the extensive menu, so we picked what we would like and it was all very lovely and delicious, everything from start to finish was perfect, professional and I would definitely visit again when we visit Southend overnight. I can’t recommend enough.
