We had booked to take a boat out for the day so decided to stay here - opposite the marina we needed to be at. What a gem. Our room was so comfortable. The best pillows I’ve ever slept on. We had dinner in the restaurant. Slept like a log! I had a basic breakfast in there as I wanted a fairly empty tummy before getting on a boat! (Hubby ate later on at the marina). Only one negative is the croissants were disgusting! Worst I’ve ever eaten. Must be really cheap ones as they tasted almost chemically. Weird and not nice. But that’s the only negative. We will definitely return now we have found it.

Adequate size rooms outside of the main building, beds very comfortable, all the facilities described were supplied. Modern bathrooms, clean, but in need of a descale. Water pressure not brilliant but adequate, totally don’t need a dinner plate shower head. Staff very nice and helpful. All very young, and possibly inexperienced , we were served an incorrect ( short) measure of Baileys and at dinner served horseradish sauce in the jar. It seems there is to be a change of supplier on sauces. Might be nice if that supplier supplied pots to put the sauces in at the table. Could still have their name on it, I guess that’s what it’s about, free advertising by using the jar. Sunday Roast was delicious, beef beautifully cooked. Well situated for Swanwick Marina. On a busy road, but that wasn’t a problem. Plenty of Parking, free to residents.

Fantastic place to stay, bed was lovely and comfy, had everything needed in the room even a dyson fan!! Dinner was amazing , I had a steak which was cooked to perfection . The whole experience here went above expectations. Staff were very friendly and the decor was gorgeous. A thoroughly enjoyable stay here. Will stay again if in this area.

Enjoyed a great family celebration at Harper's Southampton with a party of 12. Special thanks to the Management. The experience was made even better with a great server 'Driton' who was on hand to top up drinks and nothing seemed like to much trouble. Fantastic service!!

A great short stay here. It was a last minute booking and didn't arrive until later on but I was checked in and shown the room right away. The room itself was lovely, very cosy and had all the amenities I needed. The beds are super comfy! My only problem was that neither of the bed side lamps worked for some reason, but I did mention it on my way out, and they said it would be rectified asap. Breakfast was good, nice and quiet in the restaurant, I went down around 9am and got a table no bother at all.

Loved the Tea Tray, so much choice and the Bathroom accessories, including conditioner smelt amazing. Free parking - with a nice restaurant attached. Otherwise there’s not much around to walk to, other than a boat store. Comfortable double bed with crisp white bedding, a desk and chairs and a little shower room
