Townsville Southbank Apartments

Apartment 2 at Rydges Southbank Townsville is really amazing it has 2 bathrooms and bedrooms and a good kitchen with everything in it and can’t wait to come back again in June 2025 and the buffet breakfast is really good and will definitely have that again

Terrible. Booked for 5 days including breakfast. This was confirmed on our print out confirmation from *******. Went for breakfast to be rudely told it was not included for that price. Even though we had only booked for that reason and had confirmation. The manager was too busy to talk to us. Very unhappy customer.

I recently stayed two nights in the apartments with my well grown-up son and daughter. Easier with three people to get an apartment as most hotels you have to purchase two rooms. The apartment was spacious. There were two good sized bedrooms (one with ensuite) and full-sized bathroom facilities to cater for the other. A fully operable kitchen with all modern appliances was available. A very comfortable lounge, dining area also. The apartments were much cheaper than any hotel we looked at in town.

Just one street back from Palmer Street , the apartment we 4 adults shared was such great value for money . The bedrooms were roomy and really comfortable beds . Plenty of wardrobe space if you were staying longer . Having 2 bathrooms was a bonus . The kitchen was a good size and the lounge / dining area a great size . Lovely large balcony overlooking some backyards but that wasn't a problem , very quiet and peaceful . You check in at Rydges and walk through their car park to the apartments and use the pass card to open the gates as well as your apartment . There is a lift to the upper floors . Well kept and very clean , I would recommend these apartments . I notice another reviewer mentioned no bedside lamps or table lamps - there were in this apartment . We did not have to pay a key deposit .
