In the winter you can hear the waterfalls and the relaxing effects are something only Mt Mitchell can bring to your soul. In the summer you can escape the heat and cool yourself off in the high mountains of the Great Smoky National Forest which borders the property line. The chalet has a loft master bedroom with a locally grown and built red cedar king-size log bed. In the mornings you wake up to a beautiful view of Mt. Mitchell and the huge valley below. Sip your coffee as the clean cool mountain air gently wakes you up. A k-cup and brew combination coffee makes provides you with endless java. Hike some of the local trails which are everywhere. Wade in the mountain creeks and rivers in the cool mountain water. Visit some of the most scenic waterfalls in the world as there are three very close to the chalet.
