Eliot Arms

Upon arrival we were warmly received by very friendly staff - stayed in room number 9 which was lovely and cosy! The aesthetic of the room was clearly well thought out and it was immaculately clean. Not cluttered at all, with black out blinds, sheer blinds and curtains, also lots of windows to let fresh air in. The food is hearty pub grub and the drinks are incredibly well priced. Our booking also included breakfast which was great, as there was lots of choice for vegetarian dietary. Tremendous value for money, couldn’t recommend the stay much higher and have already raved about it to friends and family. Would definitely stay again.

The setting was lovely of where it was situated. The staff were very nice & friendly, made you feel very welcome. Food was amazing, breakfast & evening meal both. Room was comfortable, comfy bed so slept well. The restaurant was always warm no matter how cold it was outside.

An excellent experience in a modernised period character property. The property has the modern comforts with all the charm of our British heritage. The Eliot Arms has plenty of seating in the bar, outside to the front by the stream, the relaxing lounge area and the restaurant (but had to book). The car park is a the back with easy access to the upstairs rooms via a separate door. The greeting upon arrival was very warm and welcoming. The room was very comfortable and clean of a good size with a modern spotless ensuite shower room. Our evening meal was excellent of good quality. We thoroughly enjoyed it and followed it with an evening walk in the picturesque village. The breakfast exceeded our expectations it was freshly prepared and excellent!!
