Best entertainment and batman's all nice people, amazing culture. For sure recommended as a first trip to Islamic country :＞. Room was clean eveyday new sheets open bar on the pool, clean water cleaned everyday varieties of food in restaurat good price nothing to complain.

I’m afraid this holiday was a disaster. The staff were lovely and very helpful but the hotel is very run down. Couldn’t sit in the bar area due to cigarette smoke so had to sit in the foyer. We were there for 7nights and 5 of those ended in fights even to the extent that as new people arrived a fight broke out and they refused to stay at this hotel. Food was uninviting so although all inclusive we had to eat out every evening. Pool area never cleaned so sat on sun beds surrounded by fag butts and dirty tables. Don’t even get me started on the so called beauty & Spa. This was a joke. Will definitely go back to Tunisia as the people were lovely but I would recommend giving this hotel a wide birth until they sort the whole place out.

The staff are friendly and that is the only thing good about this hotel. I have never been to a hotel that the whole reception smells of cigarette smoke. My wife suffers from atsma and we could not enjoy an evening chill downstairs in the lounge. The food was cold and one day the rice tasted like left over from the day before. The sheets on the table were hardly changed and looking dirty. The bathroom shower cloth was full of mould and the AC was not working. The curtains in the room needs washing as we daw blood stain and the chairs and tables in the balcony needs cleaning in fact we had to request a room change and lost our sea view room which we paid for. The dining area needs an overhaul. But as I said the staff are very friendly.

We arrived at Hotel Royal Jinene last week for 7 days. Upon leaving the coach, a nice man collected our bags. The entrance and lobby is nice, with lobby bar. They put us in room 206 first, which had a view of rubbish filled wasteland and dirty nappies on the roof below!! We immediately asked to change room! The next day they put us in room 502, which was alot better, sea view and pool view with balcony. The overall cleanliness of the hotel is terrible! Carpets never been vacuumed, toilets disgusting. The food is quite limited, but I actually really enjoyed it, breakfast very basic, lunch & dinner very similar each day, but food is good. Bars are basic, weak draft beer was nice, the spirits are local brands but not too bad. They 99% of the time dont have coke zero, just full sugar. Pools, inside closed, outside was good, depth 2.3m, slides are small but ok. Wifi, average coverage in the lobby and rooms, not near swimming pool. The guests are mostly Arab Muslim, they are extremely rude and unfriendly! Luckily there were a fair few brits. The local area in the streets is horrendous, litter literally Everywhere! Dead cats, dead birds, and the feeling of absolutely not being safe! The private Beach, is nice, a bar and nice seating area, But the beaches either side are covered in litter!! Real shame, don't understand why the locals don't help clean it up! The entertainment (Animation) Girls Eyaa and Lulu where just amazing, so lovely and Freindly, they really helped making the holiday brilliant xxx Avoid The Ally baba man! The excursions are awful!! On a bus for 1hr each way for a 15min ride on a restricted quadbike! The AC as advertised, was all turned off from beginning of Sept! Overall, you get what you pay for!! It's not 5 stars, but I did really enjoy it , and Eyaa is lovely

All round good for the money. Friendly and welcoming staff. Rooms are good. Beds are comfortable. Food is okay and fresh. Facilities are good. Especially the bar. Team leader of animation (Nino) is an excellent host. Great events such as Karaoke, live music and created an entertaining atmosphere throughout our stay.

This hotel is run down and I can't think of a positive thing to write. Food always cold. Day snacks were very limited. Drinks selection was very limited as well. Local beer, and spirits were disgusting so I bought becks which was only 7 dinar, so about £1.75 a bottle. You can smoke inside the bar and reception area so of an evening they are extremely smokey. Rooms were tidied every day but the sheets were not changed and the AC in the room didn't work. We asked for a cot and were told we had to wait until the next day to get one, which we then had to chase up to get it. Stupidly loud flush on the toilet and the toilet roll holder was held together used a nail at each end to hold the toilet roll. The restaurant food was always cold, other than the pizza that you could have freshly made so was then hot. However if you picked a slice of already made pizza then that was also cold. I made a cup of tea and by the time I got up to my room on the second floor it was cold. Hot choclate had no choclate in it. Be vigilant as well. One day they served a pan of spaghetti and a separate pan of bolognese. The restaurant manager came to my table offering a bowl of spaghetti bolognese already mixed. I never saw it myself but I can only assume that it was left over food from other people's plates as he was pushing round the trolley to collect the dirty plates. The table clothes were always dirty and not replaced after someone left the table. The cutlery and napkins were also never replaced so you had to go and take them off other tables, and the salt shakers were all dirty and never cleaned. The outside was not busy so we had our choice of sun beds. The kids pool was closed as they were retiling it. The main pool slides were only on for about 1 hour out of the day. The pool bar did not serve becks so I had to go to the hotel bar everytime I wanted a drink. Internet was very hit and miss and I struggled to get service around the pool. They had table tennis and darts as entertainment in the day but the tennis court, the basket ball court and crazy golf all needed work and the crazy golf needed that much work you could not play it. The beach did have a beach bar, however it was shut. I wanted to take a bucket of ice with becks down to the beach on my last day but was told there was hardly any ice so I couldn't do that. I did leave the hotel to go for a walk and the outside was very run down and smelt. The nearest supermarket was a 10 minute walk but as it was Ramadan you could not buy alcohol and any cafes and restaurants near by were all shut until late evening. I would not return to this hotel and I've been put off Tunisia all together now.
