Boutique Hotel Helios

Firstly the room smelt of damp but was told that it was cleaning products. The window in the bathroom was broken so couldn't open it when we showered. The pool is tiny and nothing like in the pictures ( the reason we booked this hotel was because of the size of the pool in the pictures ). The air conditioning unit leaked and flooded the floor, they did fix this before we came back after dinner. The pool area is next to the road so never loud and car fumes. The room down stairs shouldn't be open to guests due to the damp smell.

I dont really know what to say about this hotel, its just outstanding. some facts, its immaculately clean, its a 10 minute walk down to Sorrento, 15/20 back up , its quiet , its small enough to care, regular change of linen, towels etc. the good stuff, the staff are bloody amazing , totally helpful nothing is to much trouble. you may of read about breakfast , its true its fantastic. they will provide a list, and book restaurants for you , however I would definitely recommend the Mare Verde just up the hill about 5 minutes walk for everyday eating its a traditional restaurant , great food average meal for 2 about 50-70 euros if your drinking. Im afraid I was not impressed by the hotel restaurant next door the Tonnarelle . purports to be fine dining which to some degree is true, however its not a relaxed atmosphere and to say the staff are somewhat up themselves is an understatement ! And finally and most importantly we would like to thank Tina the breakfast Maître D for her wonderful friendly greeting each morning , her attention to detail and mostly for opening up before breakfast as we had a very early flight, thank you again Tina. Very comfortable hotel, with great, proactive and friendly service. Sea view rooms highly recommended, also as between the sea and the hotel there is a little piece of beautiful woodland (and you can hear the stream down at the bottom of the valley). Breakfast mostly excellent, with a wide and high quality selection of local pastries, and excellent Caprese salad, only little recommendation, scrambled eggs need some improvement. Rooms are very good, not very large but comfortable with lovely terraces..

This hotel was absolutely beautiful. I came on my first solo holiday and I felt so safe and secure here. It's close to the centre and around 15 minute walk to the port if you want a ferry or boat to amalfi etc. It was clean , food was really nice and the views are breathtaking from the roof terrace with the pool. Nothing was too much trouble for the friendly staff. I had an amazing time , it was a dream come true.

Amazing views of Naples and the bay of Naples! Breakfast each morning was delightful, both the service and the food! The concierge service was so accommodating, Especially Liliana and Anna! They both went out of their way to help! Luigi made amazing drinks at the bar! We loved sitting on our balcony watching the waves and marveling the beauty!

Hotel in a good location with beautiful views. There are only 15 rooms and lots of staff - all of whom bend over backwards to give excellent service. 15 minute walk from the centre of Sorrento (about 100 yards has no pavement). Room really good and spacious. Whole hotel very clean. Breakfast nice and varied. The pool is very small so more of a cool off than a swimming pool. My only criticism (except for the need for new pool towels) is the proximity to the main road, no problem inside the hotel but when at the roof terrace and pool you can hear traffic noise and smell fumes.
