THE GREAT THINGS the staff .. excellent and helpful especially dining room staff The cleanliness.. everything was spotless The WiFi .. great signal all the time The views over sorrento The pool area was lovely NOT SO GREAT breakfast was just ok , small selection of most things except cakes .. loads and loads of cakes … Room .. we booked a standard room so had a tiny balcony looking onto a wall Room was on a par with a premier inn , bed was so comfortable but lack of space for clothes and no mirror near the dressing table … not designed with luxury or comfort The tv has only sky news in English , I think I would now expect a 4 star to provide some British tv channels The decor in the room .. painted white with drawings of bunting on the wall with a pencil also various parts of the wall shaded with a pencil … odd The sound proofing wasn’t great and could hear maids in their storeroom and basically every movement outside and above and below the room BAD I would say the minibus . Is is a bad point it runs on time etc but especially in the evening coming back it’s either 8.45 , a little early or 11pm , a little late .. also only the brits and the USA queue and show manners so basically it can be a free for all depending who is getting on.. if you are out for the day on a trip it’s a bit tiresome to then try and fit in your journey around the bus times , Inf you get a taxi from Sorrento it is only 5 mins but you can be charged anywhere between 20-30 euros . I wouldn’t stay here again because using the bus is very restrictive I would choose a hotel closer to the centre so I could come and go . In general trips to various points of interest are expensive, lots of queues involved every where .. I found capri , although it beautiful and lovely to see , as busy as Oxford st and pretty expensive .

This is just a really bad hotel. Old reviews may not reflect accurately the problems of this hotel. First, it is in an awful location and booked solid with cheap tours. The hotel drive is so narrow and steep it is impossible to walk down, taxis may not go up there and we spent hours every day in a dirty gas station at the foot of the hill waiting on their old van to ferry large groups of guests to the hotel. You are stuck there for meals, because of its remote location far from any restaurants or even minimarts. The food was not good. It gets only one star for the bar because the wine was ok and it was easy to get drinks (but the bar also closes early since you aren't going to get any entertainment here. I would have given it zero stars otherwise. Our room had a toilet that was super loud and ran literally all night long. Got zero sleep. The beds are rock hard and uncomfortable. Another in our group had a door that would not lock or fully close.. A third couple had a window literally was bulging out from the sagging ceiling weight under the pool. The "art" in our room was 2 scarfs tacked to a wall. This hotel has a terrible location, terrible rooms, is in disrepair, and mediocre food. Don't get suckered by the view. Every hotel here is on a mountain with a view from the front. I do not recommend staying here.

Family holiday for the six of us for a week. Just wonderful. Super staff who could not do enough for you. Invaluable bus service to Sorrento, too far and too hot to walk back and forth. Fantastic massage. We all loved the pool and the sun loungers were plentiful and comfortable. Would definitely go back. Grazie xx

Mixed feelings regarding this hotel. We found the reception staff quite disappointing - with the exception of one lady, they didn't come across as being particularly friendly or happy to help, although knowledgeable and efficient. We were also disappointed with the room - even allowing for the fact that there was only a standard room available when we booked we felt it was very basic for a 4 star hotel, particularly in terms of storage space available - a lot of our clothes had to remain in our suitcases for our 9 night stay - and the walls were very thin. The noise from the adjacent room didn't particularly bother us but might be a problem for light sleepers, Breakfast we also felt was disappointing - whilst plentiful, the choice of food was limited compared to other hotels we've stayed in. On the first morning we requested poached eggs - it took 40 minutes for my husband's to arrive, and a further 10 minutes for mine to be served. There were also issues with luke warm coffee in open topped jugs being served. Staff were very friendly in the restaurant, there just seemed to be a lack of efficiency. On the positive side, service/food at dinner on the two nights we dined in the hotel was excellent, and all areas of the hotel were spotlessly clean. The hotel is located up a fairly steep hill but we didn't find walking down to/back up from the town a problem, and there is a free shutttle bus that runs runs at approximately 90 minute intervals throughout the day/evening. Overall, for what we paid and compared to some hotels in Sorrento I would recommend it - it just didn't meet the standard of other 4 star hotels stayed in previously.

This hotel is a wonderful sit back and relax spot. The aspect of the hotel that we most fondly will remember is the wait staff. They were the most professional, fun, friendly, animated crew that we have ever experienced in our many years of world travel. They made us smile everyday. This is coming from a person who was in the restaurant business for over 30 years.

This hotel is NOT a 4 star hotel. It is a 2/3 star hotel. I stay here for 5 nights and was counting down to my check out day. The views at the pool are the best. You can look at them all day. The reception staff are not very helpful. I tried to book some sightseeing tours with them and it felt like they couldn’t be bothered. I had to ask so many times.in the end I went somewhere else. The bus service is good and it run’s on time. Yes it could do with more time pick ups and drop off. The drivers were lovely and friendly. A big shout out to the staff at Tonie’s the restaurant. The service here was 10 out 10. The staff were very friendly, kind and nice. They felt like family and they were happy to see you. Don’t let the pictures fool you. I will not be returning here again.
