Professional service and good food. However, the hotel itself is unfortunately worn-out and not renovated for a long period of time. In the rooms, heating is only provided through the air conditioning—radiators are completely cold. There is no heating in the bathroom, which is quite strange for a five-star hotel in February. The pool is nice, but the jacuzzi doesn’t work properly because its buttons can’t be touched with wet hands:) Every few minutes, a receptionist has to be called to restart it. Additionally, the side water jets don’t work at all. The facilities show significant wear and tear. Moreover, there are too few loungers around the pool, so there’s nowhere to sit, leaving some guests unsure of what to do after getting out of the water. One of the elevators has been out of service for a long time and remains closed. Restaurant and bar prices are very high—two teas cost almost 50 PLN! The staff is professional and friendly, but for a five-star hotel, apart from the high prices, the experience is rather average. We probably won’t return.

After 2 days in so called "5 star hotel" I am completely split. Here are facts about stay, judge on your own: 1. Hotel booked with information that child under age of 1 will come with us. No proactive contact from hotel with suggestion such as "dear guest, would you like to have a baby crib and/or bathtub in your room?" 2. At check-in we received information that due to no infromation from our side (there was no check-box on booking stage to do it), housekeeping already finished their shift for that day so hotel will not be able to provide baby crib till next day morning. 3. We have been moved to another room after I asked for room with a bathtub. Fortunately there was baby crib too. (Coincidence?) 4. In the new room heater in bathroom was broken and leaking a bit, windows were not sealed properly, but I was informed that this room is to be renovated. I was done negotiating with reception at this point. Hotel most probably was almost empty based on parking, low season, middle of the week and general emptiness on the corridors, SPA and restaurant. 5. Uneven breakfast quality: a) low quality products (e.g. uniformly yellow scrambled "eggs", if you know what that means; 100% juice did not even taste like fruits, egg paste too yellow to be fully real too:)) b) high quality food (e.g. cottage cheese, scrambled eggs ordered from a waiter (yes, that had completely different taste and consitancy)) In short - I feel that everything that was prepared by the real cook was good, some products were kind of instant ("add water, mix it and it will be OK"), some products were just budget versions (e.g. kefir) 6. Mixed feelings about the pool: a) Nice, calm and clean area b) No lifeguard (at least in the evening) Depth of main pool - 1,6m to 1,7m (5,24-5,57feet) - might be to deep for kids and non-swimmers 7. Staff was nice and smiled all the time. Kind most of the time. Do not recommend this place as it does not deserve 2 stars anymore.

We had a reservation at another hotel in the chain in Sopot. They efficiently found a room at Haffner for us. We found the hotel beds comfy. The breakfast complete, and tasty. The sauna area well laid out, the private beach is a plus. There was very little space to set things in the bathroom. The sink design is terrible. And one of the bed lamps was broken. The bar price was 5 euros for 250ml of water with lemon ... very expensive.

I highly recommend this hotel, this was my second stay, i noticed much improvement from couple of years back. The building was renovated and the standard of cleaning is much better than before. Food was nice and tasty and the hotel is very well located, close to the city center.

Staff lacks basic manners: treats clients like potential thieves, they (all 3 ladies at reception/front desk) don’t understand or speak basic English and keep on asking clients to repeat themselves they are also not familiar with the billing system and are not able to distinguish between various items ordered One very spare and mostly out of stock menu available for their alla carte restaurant in which costs a fortune and room service menu. They served starters without bread and called it a misunderstanding then reluctantly took half an hour to bring it - their octopus was not cleaned properly- horrible WiFi: mostly poor I consistent connection Only one lift working Bathrooms in need of renovation - old, also can’t bath due to leaking traps and lights out in places Not paying attention to detail in rooms we had a blind remote missing this pitch dark bedroom for most of our stay and no turn down which us disappointing The bedding is of especially bad quality.

I stayed at Hotel Haffner in Sopot, Poland, during a business trip in September. While the hotel itself is not very new, it met all my basic needs and the staff was quite accommodating. I did experience a bit of a wait when ordering food, which could be improved. However, the location of the hotel is truly its standout feature, offering easy access to local attractions and beautiful surroundings. Overall, it provided everything required for a comfortable business stay, boosted significantly by its excellent location.

We stayed in this hotel during the pandemic, then we were satisfied with the stay and service, that's why we came back here for Valentine's Day. Unfortunately it was a mistake. No interest from the staff, we waited in the lobby bar for a long time before the bartender offered us a menu. To clean the room we had to call the reception. Before arrival, there was no information that the hotel was undergoing renovation - it really made it difficult to relax. the hotel advertised a Valentine's Day offer, but the lack of commitment of the staff made us fall out of love with this hotel.

- ongoing party with loud music and shouting people at hotel, finished at 1.00 am !! - broken heater in bathroom, start work after 2 days - loud ,drunk neighbors who drink and sing after midnight. No able to rest and sleep normal!! At they call it “premium room” !! - no reaction neither staff or manager, staff don’t pickup the phone when trying to complain. - stinks something like old cucumber in room entire time. From my perspective prices are like 5 star, quality of service is something between 3-4 star. Breakfast normal as every hotel, nothing special, nothing fancy, cold scrambled eggs ! SPA is bad organized, nobody even respect sauna rules, no cups for water in Sauna, no dedicated small / medium towels for Sauna area. Any SPA massage 10 x more expensive than average price. I understand 3-5 x more expensive for 1000 PLN for a h massage ? I’m very happy to leave this hotel tomorrow, never again and I promise myself I I’ll review this visit everywhere I can including my workplace .Never seen such poor quality even 3 star hotels are better than we experienced in Haffner Hotel
