Nguyen Shack Retreat

Een geweldig resort wat door een hele lieve familie wordt verzorgd. De locatie ligt prachtig aan een meer en in de natuur. De dochter Kim organiseert wandelingen vanaf het resort. De yoga is ook geweldig met een hele goede yogaleraar Ashiq Dit resort is echt een aanrader

This is a unique place. Very quite, very peaceful next to an impressive lake at the edge of the village. Everybody has their own spacious and luxury chalet. Excellent on-site restaurant so food drinks are available all day long. If you're into it then there are free yoga sessions every morning and evening. But the best part are the wonderful attentive, friendly and helpful people that run the place. And of course their supersweet animals that gather around the fire every night. Help is available for trips (for all levels) in the area and specifically to the caves of course. Truly a unique and highly recommended place. I would not hesitate to stay here again next time I'm in Vietnam.

Stunning location. Free yoga twice a day. Family who run it were so nice. Very relaxing and welcoming environment. Our room was on the lake with an amazing balcony. Food is available all day. They helped organic our trips, motorcycle rental and car back to Dong Hoi

It is such an amazing place to stay, the location is gorgeous, by a very beautiful lake. It is quiet and relaxing The rooms are really nice, with a beautiful view on the lake The food is delicious, with several westerners dishes like the poutine, which was very good The couple running the place is so kind and welcoming. We planned to stay there for 2-3 nights and ended up staying for almost two weeks. This is one of these rare places that make your travelling experience magical! The place is super clean, the food is amazing and they adopt each dish to your personal taste. We ended up eating most meals there. The price is not far from alternative places, but it’s huge and spacious. We stayed in a 90m two floor room perfect for a family, with a full view to a lake. Most places on the main streets are quite crowded and don’t have that’s space. Maxim and Theo are what you call a super host! They both make sure that have everything you need and go above and beyond. They even went to the town to check on shipping prices to help with a package we wanted to send. They also make sure to explain about all the activities around and sort the transport (they have bicycle, motorbikes and taxis. They are truly amazing. If we are ever back in Vietnam, they will be the first place we will come to. Oh! They have a cute pig that goes around and says hello:)

This retreat is perfect for somebody who wants to be a little bit off the beaten track. It's a tranquil Paradise. They have options below $15 and below $25. It's worth the splurge to get the better rooms. The Wi-Fi is available even in the remote rooms. They have free yoga classes at 7:00 a.m. as well as 5:00 p.m.
