October holiday which was very last minute. The hotel is huge and am not sure I would want to be here in the high summer months. I can imagine it would be very, very busy. However, for my visit half of the hotel, one block, had been closed and the number of visitors low due to being at the end of season. Rooms are a bit dated but kept clean. Poolside clean and tidy and sun-beds comfortable. Lifeguards on duty. Appears to have a lot of activities available for children so they would be occupied but most was closed up during my visit, again due to it being end of season. Beach easily accessible via gate on back wall (use your room key) and plenty of areas to walk if you’re inclined. Plenty of choice at breakfast, and supermarkets/restaurants very close by if you are only B&B like me. Bus stop close by if you wish to discover the island further afield. Really liked Son Bou as it was so quiet at this time of year but still warm enough for a bit of sunbathing.

First of all the positives which out rule the negatives....Hotel spotlessly clean as soon as you walk through the doors your welcomed by a lovely reception area we had no problems with the lifts as some reviews have stated ,Our room was clean and comfortable everything we needed even though it was a little dated the sea view from our balcony was amazing also lovely walks around the area .Good size pool but a little cold this time of year the loungers were about the best I have layed on nice and new ,token system for drinks cups is a good idea didn't find the plastic beakers a problem at all .....Negatives (sorry to say ) We wasn't very impressed with the food not a very good selection or quality and could be warmer but there was a microwave to heat it up but personally don't like to use them . Not a good selection of desserts either but loved the salad we didn't go hungry always found something to eat .

Rules! I'm not allowed my float in the pool. There's no one in it and it's huge! Rules are rules I suppose. Also this is an all inclusive hotel but we are b&b. If we want to buy a drink we have to first buy a token from reception to get a paper cup - day or night! No thanks. Luckily some nice bars close by. The place is clean. The staff are friendly. Most rooms have a sea view. No kettle in room but there is a small fridge and a hair dryer. The location is on the beach which is beautiful. Ok hotel if you don't spend any time here other than sleeping as it does have a bit of an army camp feel to it.

Ignore the negative comment.we have had a lovely time from the start . Reception was welcoming and explained everything rooms were clean and views were amazing. Food was varied with something for everyone. Would suggest to go early rather than later though as it does get busy . The resort itself was closing for the winter but there was enough to do if you want a relaxing time away. Loads of walking trails, trip to mahon only 2.60 euro is a great day out . Thank you to all the staff for making our break a memorable one.

Negatives are Uninspiring hot (which was usually cold) food. No real sense to how the buffet areas were set out. Seem to have to walk round and round to access what you were looking for eg, there are 2 dining areas. Hot drinks machines in both but no milk available for tea and coffee in the upper section ,which was much larger, where we liked to sit, which meant you're walking through very busy areas carrying hot drinks. No dessert spoons out to eat cereal so had to use teaspoons. Breakfast didn't start till 8.30 and dinner 7.30. Both too late for some age groups, including me. It resulted in chaotic mealtimes. Some staff were a little surly, one taking my breakfast plate away while I went back to get a cup of tea , had to go back in the toast queue! My husband doesn't eat breakfast and I only have cereal and toast so I felt entitled to make up some sandwiches for our lunch on the beach. Just a bit of cheese, ham etc but was getting vibes I was committing a crime from staff ! Plenty of others were doing the same. In relation to previous comments about the buffet, yes it was strange to see beans, carrots and broccoli !! out for breakfast but I suppose they try and cater fir different cultures We ended up eating out at night most of the time which added to the cost of our holiday. Positives are Although the rooms are small, the sea views are fab. Hotel and rooms, although a little tired and in need of updating, are spotlessly clean/ very comfy beds and pillows/ great location/nice town . I would go back to this hotel but bed and breakfast next time for us. We like the beach but if you like the poolside it's very spacious and a separate pool for a swimmers. Large pool great for kids.

Hotel is great, seconds from the beach and nearly every room has a sea view, maids do a superb job with room service and you get a website where you can order pretty much whatever you need right to your room. Food is beautiful pretty much same thing minus a little change here and there but with so many options you can still have a different meal every day and don't have to try make 10 small portions to taste everything before it all changes again. The entertainment is the best every night there's a great show, if its wet outside there's an indoor stage. Pool is also great
