Hotel Piolets Soldeu Centre

Hotel is located close to the main lift, with good ski locker facilities, it’s a quick walk to the slopes The hotel is a little dated, with an attempt to modernise. However, bedrooms are clean, and bathrooms have been modernised and are fantastic Food is good, plenty of choice salads, but lacking vegetables. A selection of dishes are cooked as you wait, and normally worth waiting for. The staff are friendly and hardworking, a table is never left uncleared, the restaurant is spotless. If you want a good hotel to get your head down, close to the slopes and good food then worth considering

It was a fantastic staff is very nice and so helpful, it is to highlight Erika efforts in the restaurant part, such a professional cook, really helpful and really sweet and kind with us!! I really recommend everyone to stay in this hotel, really good price quality relation.

Having a fabulous stay in soldeu and this hotel is in the perfect location very close to the main gondola lift in soldeu . The rooms have been refurbished and exceptionally clean . The bar is perhaps the cheapest in town . Both Karina in reception and Erika in the kitchen / buffet have been absolutely super . Always smiling and making that extra effort . Can’t wait to return for 3 weeks in March

The food was different every night and was at a great quality! Could not fault the food. I have a nut allergy and the staff were always very helpful in identifying what foods I could and could not eat. They were so helpful that they remembered that I had a nut allergy and each evening a staff member would approach me to walk through what I could and could not eat (there wasn’t a lot I could not eat). Kathi was brilliant at supporting me with this as well as other members of staff when she was not working. Thank you so much for making our hotel stay so comfortable and enjoyable. The bedding and towels were changed everyday with no issues and the rooms are very warm and modern - it made it easy to dry some damp clothes at the end of a busy skiing day! The only issue I would say with the rooms (and in fairness we did not approach staff to change/swap this) was the fact that we had two single beds pushed together but they did not fix together to form the double bed unlike in some other places we have stayed. Our room faced the road but we did not get disturbed by any noise. Also it is worth noting that the evening entertainment, the magician and the singer were fantastic! The spa was also lovely. Noteworthy details: The staff are an asset to this hotel and were always very friendly and welcoming. Great view from much of the hotel to the slopes - it’s a very short 2 minute walk to the gondola at Grandvalira!

Our stay was faultless. Excellent service, spotless rooms, and the food was outstanding. In particular, Luis on the dinner service who was making sushi. The best sushi we have had in years. We kept going back for more ! The spa was clean and well managed. And the fact that you could hire skis next door, and the walk to the gondola was less than 3 mins . I don’t think you could ask for a better hotel. We will be back

Lovely hotel, have been coming back 3 years in a row. big improvement this year with all renovated rooms. Friendly staff all over the hotel. Decent selection of fresh and tasty food. Greatly positioned next to the slopes with beautiful views. Reasonable price considering location.
