Great location easily accessible by bus, taxi and ferry, friendly helpful staff, easy check in and check out, large room though more hanging space in the bathroom would have been a welcome addition. Good selection at breakfast served next door. Towels were well worn and investment in newer ones would be required. The complimentary drinks in the room were a lovely welcome. The quiet room at the back of the hotel meant we enjoyed a good nights sleep.

Good hotel , clean , big room, new bathroom & tea and coffee , kettle and fridge supplied . Lots of Storage for clothes . Fantastic shower . Good breakfast and lots of choice . We booked a city view room , which was the only thing we didn’t enjoy , as the view was of the back of buildings and a big crane next door . The location of the hotel is good , near the ferry Buses and restaurants. All the hotel staff were very helpful and especially the reception manager when our airport transfer was late picking us up , he made various phone calls at 4.30 am . Would recommend the hotel ,

Outstanding hotel right in the middle of restaurants, activities, amazing views. Friendly, warm staff always helped us feel welcome. Amazing breakfasts started each day. We will be back!

This hotel is in a great location in the heart of Sliema….close to many shops and very good restaurants and also close to the ferry terminal to get to Valletta (approx a 5 minute walk). The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful with answering all sorts of questions. The rooms are basic but clean and spacious with ample storage and space luggage. and clean. We did not have a room with a view of the water but the hotel does have Superior city view rooms for more money. The AC works fantastic which is much needed with the heat of Malta in June. The beds and pillows are comfortable and the rooms are have black out curtains. I also appreciated that there are power outlets and USB ports next to both beds for convenient and easy charging of phones and other electronic devices. They have an on-site restaurant / pub where we had included breakfast every morning. The breakfast is ok and is served buffet style. The pub is a popular spot for young people at night so while I imagine it’s loud at night we did not hear any noise from our room on the 4th floor room.

Amazing hotel! Found The Londoner as part of a package through *******, and the pictures do not do the hotel justice! Massive room and a huge, comfy bed (I’m 6’3 and could lay sideways on it), with a great view overlooking the bay. Fantastic being able to sit on the balcony and enjoy a coffee watching the sun come up over Valetta just over the water. Staff was friendly and attentive, and provided excellent recommendations for what to see and do. Plenty of shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. Bus and ferry stops directly over the road, so easy to get anywhere in Malta! Breakfast had plenty of options and there wasn’t a limit on what we could have. The Londoner in Sliema is a hidden gem, and I would recommend it to anyone! The receptionist from Serbia (Sema?) was fantastic and gave great tips for the area!

I paid approx. £250 for 3 nights at the hotel in February including a continental breakfast. The room I booked was sea facing with a balcony. I arrived at 8 pm and immediately noticed that the hotel (which is on the main strand) is surrounded by a street full of bars. Due to this the area is very lively and noisy. I had a room on the 8 floor - directly above the hotel bar however if I kept the balcony doors shut you couldn’t hear a thing. So top tip if you book the hotel request a high floor. The breakfast had a good selection however the hot plate which contained bacon, eggs etc was cold on all 3 mornings I visited. Apart for that you were able to get enough to eat to fill yourself up. Cakes, meat, cereal, toast etc. The hotel is centrally located and a great place to explore from however didn’t have any other amenities. The room - it was large with a huge double bed and the bathroom was modern. The only issue with the room was the air conditioning. The lowest it was go was 16 degrees. This was ok for me as I visited in Feb however I can imagine in the summer this may not be cool enough. Getting to the hotel I booked a taxi transfer from the airport which was £22. Retuning to the airport I booked an UBER which was €13! You can get a bus which is €3 each and the nearest bus stop from the hotel is approx. 400m In summary: if I visited MALTA again would I use this hotel? The answer would be yes. Good value and centrally located. Any issues were minor.
