Kassandra Bay Resort, Suites & Spa

Beautiful peace of paradise had two days away from sister hotel KB Ammos in a suite as a treat for my 60th birthday! Nothing disappointed everything was spot on! The half board food was not to our taste but served up beautifully and staff very attentive! Everywhere so clean including the beach and service to your sun beds whilst on the beach was second to none!

Roomns well equipped and comfortable, worth extra for sea views. Staff all excellent and friendly. Good location, with excellent local bus service (bus stop) outside hotel. Complex clean and modern with great facilities including the swimming pools

All of the staff were very attentive and helpful, always gave a great service. Their Black Olive resturant had lovely views across the bay, the food was delicious and the catering manager and Areta were great, they made a great team and enjoyed their work. The bar staff were lovely and the bar tender was very knowledgeable about cocktails, lovely atmosphere. Service around the pool and beach was great. The location was great, all of the areas in and outside of hotel was spotless. The boat taxi was very handy into Skiathos.

We have just returned from a weeks stay at Kassandra Bay suites and absolutely loved it. The hotel is fabulous & the staff are fantastic, every single person we saw was polite and friendly. We arrived in the afternoon and the check in process was quick and efficient, we were offered a welcome drink and cake whilst checking in and had a great chat with the manager and reception staff. We stayed in the adults only suites side of the hotel and we were given room 323 which was spacious and had a beautiful balcony with sea view and outside whirlpool bath. The food is very good, we were b&b so had most of our evening meals in the Black Olive restaurant and a couple of lunches in the pool bar. We did eat offsite at the restaurant next door, Sorokos and Agnadis Azzuro which is near bus stop 9. Both are also very good but I will review those separately. There were some things I have read on previous reviews which I think have been addressed/resolved. Firstly there was a kettle and tea/coffee in our room, not sure if that is just for the suites? There is a separate breakfast dining area for suites guests and there is a key card entry system on the door to the infinity pool which is for suites guests only. The hotel is spotless and every well kept. We only used the infinity pool, as with most hotels at this time of year the pool was cold but soon wanted up once you were in. For us, the location of the hotel is great, it's quiet and away from town & right on the beach. There is a bus stop directly outside the hotel (stop 8) and the bus costs 2 euros to get into the port, it takes about 10 minutes but you can also get a taxi for 10 euros. We didn't go the other way so I am unsure how long it takes to get to Koukounaries area but did see a few people go that way. There isn't a shop on site and I think the closest supermarket is at bus stop 4 but we got a few supplies such as big bottled water and crisps in town and then kept those in our room. There is a mini bar in the room, we didn't use it but there is a price list for all the items already in the fridge. It is the start of the season so not as busy as summer but we never struggled to find a sunbed with parasol or wait more than 5 minutes to be served. There are special offers on a couple of days a week such as a free bottle of wine with your meal which I thought was nice. It really is a great hotel but above all the staff are exceptional and really made our stay. We will definitely return to this hotel, thank you to all the team at Kassandra Bay!!

On arrival the complex looked absolutely stunning, great location and very well kept. We were checked in swiftly, we had booked into one of the suites for our stay. First impressions the room was lovely and very spacious fabulous sea view which we had booked. The pool areas were well played out with the infinity pool being just for suite guests, there was also another adult pool and a family pool. Plenty beds available but I expect it would be a challenge to obtain a bed in the busy months. We was half board however only ate in the hotel 3 times as we like eating out, the food was lovely but the portions were way too big, so there was vast amounts of food being wasted. On arrival we had no cold water in our room, the electricity pad on the wall for the maids was also not working as the safe was also not working. We notified reception and these jobs were rectified however when you are paying a lot of money you don’t expect to arrive to these issues they should have been checked before new guests arrive. The restaurant and bar staff were lovely, the maids were quite inconsiderate when using the lifts alongside guests they would just push in before you even if they saw you waiting they felt they had priority. Reception staff were extremely overpowering and very intimidating especially the reception manager out of our week were never allowed once to walk and wonder into reception as he approached you instantly and all the staff crowded around you, therefore we avoided that area. Was a beautiful complex however would not return as felt it was overpriced for what you got and the reception manager was a big negative on the holiday.

Had a fantastic stay here. The place is overlooking the beach the apartments are spotless. The staff can’t do enough for you there lovely and friendly and the food is well presented and reasonably priced enjoyed our stay here very much, would recommend to anyone also there is a bus outside the gates into Skiathos every 15 mins.
