You won't go wrong if you choose this place. Excellent receptionist who can speak in fluent English to guide you. The welcoming drinks and the free flow coffee in the lobby is really amazing. Apart from that, you can claim a free wine in another affliated hotel which allows you to have one of the best view of Sitges beach. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Another highlight is the breakfast, it's one of the best with various variety. Highly recommended.

Has all elements for a good holiday stay. Short walk from train station and to express bus to Barcelona airport. Short walk passing many restaurants on way to Sitges beach front. Breakfast spread better than several hotels I stayed on the recently completed Spain and Portugal tour.

Excellent and economical hotel- allowed us to check our bags before checking in and after check out. Staff, very accommodating, wonderful pool area, which includes hot tub. Breakfast the best we've had in 2 months of traveling. we return year after year.

Fantastic hotel located in the heart of Sitges. The receptionists were nothing but welcoming and lovely and also very attentive to any questions asked. The breakfast selection was fantastic and such variety which wasn’t expected, the staff was also great and liked the fact you could order eggs to your requirement. The room itself was functional and the addition of the fridge was great. Also one of the best showers that I have had at a hotel. One of the best hotels that I have stayed in especially for the price.

The Galeon Sitges boasts an unbeatable central location, making it a fantastic base for exploring the charming town of Sitges. The staff are exceptionally friendly and welcoming, creating a positive atmosphere. Furthermore, the rooms are impeccably clean, a definite plus. However, the hotel is clearly showing its age. While cleanliness is maintained, the decor and overall aesthetic are dated and would benefit significantly from a refresh. The breakfast, while plentiful, is somewhat of an eclectic mix. The sheer variety, ranging from sushi to baked beans, feels overwhelming and slightly disjointed; a more curated selection would likely be more appreciated. Despite these drawbacks, the Galeon Sitges offers excellent value for money. The shower, in particular, is a highlight, featuring a range of enjoyable functions. It's worth noting the hotel displays a large number of review certificates, some dating back many years, which while showing past success, perhaps reflects a need to focus on current guest experiences. In summary, the Galeon Sitges is a solid 3-star option for budget-conscious travelers who prioritize location and friendly service. While the dated decor and unusual breakfast might not appeal to everyone, the clean rooms and excellent value make it a worthwhile consideration.

Lovely hotel that I booked for a few nights away months in advance. Unfortunately my Dad died two days before my stay and although I wasn't looking forward to my holiday, my family suggested I still go and try and relax. I arrived slightly early, but the gentleman on reception said my room was ready and it was fine for me to check in. The receptionist was indeed very polite and helpful. The room was okay. I can't pretend it was a nice room, it wasn't really, it was in dire need of a renovation. However, the bathroom was lovely, and it was spotlessly clean throughout the room. For the money paid, I was satisfied. It wasn't a room I would say I would want to stay in as a couple, but it was fine for a short break solo. Breakfast was lovely. I can't eat very much as I have had most of my stomach removed, but what I did have was nice. The lady who worked the reception in the evenings was also lovely, and helpful to a tee. The Pool and Jacuzzi area was lovely, a little haven. I wish the hot tub was somewhat warmer, but it was okay. Overall I was pleased with my stay and I feel it was excellent value for money. I would stay again. Thank you Hotel Galeon for a much needed break :)
