A delightful experience from a super comfy room and bed, very tasty breakfast with the additional sweet treats with coffee pre breakfast. Sitting by the fire pit with a nice glass of wine finished the day off beautifully. Highly recommend Main St B&B Arthur and Susan from the UK

We stayed one night on our way east. I thought it would be nice to stay in a small town, rather than downtown in Kansas City. Parkville and the Main Street Inn were lovely. We stayed in Old Kate's room, which featured a comfy bed, a well-equipped bathroom, lovely decorating and plenty of air conditioning. For dinner, we walked to and enjoyed a delicious meal at Prima Facie, the restaurant recommended by our gracious hostess, Kathy. After dinner, we enjoyed sitting by the firepits in front of the Inn. We were delighted to enjoy a delicious breakfast on the front porch in the shade of a beautiful maple tree. After breakfast, we walked in the riverfront park. All in all, a wonderful visit.

Great place for a relaxing get away! Within walking distance of restaurants and shops, while still close enough to KC to give you all the options you could need. Kathy was waiting to give us a personal greeting when we arrived, and the coffee and bread each morning along with her homemade breakfast each morning made for a great start to the day. The Inn was quiet, comfortable and a unique place to stay in a great location. Overall, everything exceeded my expectations and we will definitely be back!

Main Street Inn is absolutely awesome. Kathy is a delightful hostess, accomodations are amazing, and the wonderful breakfast is a real treat. And the French press coffee with a tasty sweet bread which she delivers to our room one hour before breakfast is a wonderful way to wake up.

Great hospitality! Wonderful food! Relaxing, charming room and loved the jacuzzi! Kathy and Jason are easy to talk to and very informative. Beautiful and clean place! We travel alot and felt the hospitality exceeded any 5 star place we have stayed at. We would stay again and try the other room.

Delightfully charming. Husband/wife architects lovingly run the property and no detail is overlooked. Appreciated Karen's suggestions for local historic places to visit / eat. Welcome change from big chain hotels. Will definitely stay there again.

Great service and hospitality. Cathy takes her business seriously. Your comfort and service are the main focus. Coffee is brought to your door with a delicious breakfast later. Pamper yourself with a couple days at this place. Be prepared for steps since there are many.

Very enjoyable and what we love was a BIG bonus for an overnight stay at a B&B. Nice and quiet. We stayed for one night to celebrate our anniversary. Very delighted with the room and the adjoining bathroom. The breakfast was very nice. It was a homemade dish. I am not sure what was in it, being a guy and all, I just know it was good stuff. When in the area again, my wife and I plan to stay again.

We stayed at the Main Street Inn over the Christmas holiday to be near our family living/gathering in Parkville. It was very comfortable and convenient. The breakfasts each morning were really good and the coffee and tea in our room prior to breakfast was a nice way to start our busy days. The inn is very comfortable and the owners have done a great job of preserving the historical integrity of the home while offering modern conveniences. We probably didn't take full advantage, as it would be a great place to come and go while exploring all that Parkville has to offer, but we were with family all day every day. It was the perfect place to lay our heads at the end of full days with family.
