ST Signature Tanjong Pagar

Two-level property sandwiched between ground floor restaurant bar and rooftop bar. On top of that doof doof noise was also happening outside left, right and center. Noise was quite bad during my weekend trip. Cancelled the booking when I had enough at 1AM and left at 8AM. Full refund and half refund of the remaining night rejected. Should have clearly warned customers that they will be sandwiched between noisy venues. Avoid weekends. And if you are a light sleeper… good luck.

A hotel to stay for a couple of days and see all the main sights. Convenient location, there are main bus routes and near the subway, as well as Maxwell Hawker center.

I stayed at the hotel for quite a long duration (12 nights) as my home is undergoing renovation. In gist,just lower your expectations and I think you will be able to survive. Pros: -I love how the hotel is located in the CBD area,which is just a quick 5 min walk from my office. -Located very near Tg Pagar and Maxwell MRT,there are bus stops located within a 3 min walk. -Lots of food options around,there are 2 supermarkets within walking distance. -Easy check in process via phone,can be intimidating for the less tech savvy. -Easy to request for house keeping through their chat. -There are sufficient toilet/shower cubicles,I never had to queue for one. -The water dispenser makes life very convenient. Cons: -My room was located next to the main door of the suite,hence everytime when my neighbours walk in/out,it would be very noisy. I didn’t have to set alarm in the morning because the noise from the door slamming shut will wake me up without fail. -Aircon is too cold and the air is very dry till I felt very hard to breathe. -There are some stains/mold on the wall of my room probably due to the lack of windows. -The cleaning lady for level 2 has the worst attitude. I was brushing my teeth at the common sink one morning (before 9am) and she just came over to spray god knows what chemicals (probably bleach) into my sink. Didn’t even bother to say excuse or wait till I’m done. -She walks around with a permanent black face except when she is eating at the cook lab. -The walls of the rooms are extremely thin. If you’re a light sleeper like me,it’s very hard to sleep if your neighbours are noisy. There were a few nights when my neighbour was on her phone till 3-4am. Since I’m a local and staying for quite a number of nights,I didn’t want to spend too much on a temporary accommodation so I guess this fits the bill but I recommend finding a higher tier hotel if you can afford it.

Nice .clean. Close to the Maxwell food court and a lot of food options around. Great place!!!! Definitely will come back again.

This is my 3rd in this hotel. The location is extremely good, right in the city and walkable distance to a lot of nearby attractions. The room while small is very clean and comfortable; internet speed is good. It's very comfortable for 1 person. Check in is quick and seamless.

This is the best and the cheapest option if you're looking for a single room(yes, it's tiny, but....that's Singapore, baby:) . However the room itself is well managed and has everything even for quite a long stay. The shared facilities are immaculately clean and nice, there are enough shower and toilet cabins with all necessary add-ons(shampoo, paper). They got shared kitchen with free water and coffee and cooking facilities on the 2nd. floor, and a cozy rooftop bar on the top of the building. The hotel has absolutely great location right in the heart of Chinatown, there're 2 mrt stations, a few bus stops that'd make you travel around this amazing city state fast and convenient , but actually you can explore all the tourist attractions even on foot , it's not that far, for example Marina Bay Sands is 25-30mins away(depends on your pace). Plenty of different temples and cool spots around, and you can find some hawker centers around with tons of authentic finger-licking food. They have advanced check in /out system via their own app, helpful and friendly stuff is always there just in case though.
