An Incredible Stay at Mandai Rainforest Resort We booked Mandai Rainforest Resort for my husband’s birthday, and everything about our stay exceeded expectations. The check-in was smooth, and we were warmly welcomed with complimentary food. To our surprise and delight, the resort even provided a birthday cake for my husband—such a thoughtful gesture that made our stay extra special. The overall concept of the resort is stunning—modern yet harmoniously blended with nature. Everything was easily accessible, and the facilities were spotless. All the public toilets were clean and came equipped with bidets, which was a great touch. The staff were friendly, helpful, and genuinely made us feel cared for throughout our stay. While we were given complimentary breakfast for two, we weren’t able to enjoy it as the restaurant wasn’t certified halal. It would be wonderful if more inclusive dining options could be offered in the future. In-room dining was on the pricier side (as with most resorts), but the portions were generous—enough to share between two. And I can’t forget to mention the pandan crème brûlée—it was honestly the highlight of my stay. SO GOOD. I’d go back just for that! Overall, this was a memorable and meaningful getaway. We highly recommend Mandai Rainforest Resort for anyone looking to unwind in nature with top-notch service and thoughtful details at every turn.

A different kind of getaway from busy citylife to nature & claming vibe from the resort Room is very spacious with a very beautiful lakeview love the rooftop pool great to have a good swim & watch sunset. Breakfast buffet was delicious with many food options

New resort and the room is beautiful and comfortable. It was my birthday and they treated me not 1 slice or 1 quarter but 1 WHOLE chocolate cake! My husband and I were really impressed! Check-in at counter was smooth and express check-out was convenient. We went to cavern restaurant at Rainforest park but getting to the free shuttle bus takes a bit of walking up and down. Fortunately it was only 1 stop so reached very quickly. After dinner, we returned to the hotel before walking to the night safari. Convenient to walk back after 9pm too. Love the green products like free "join the pipe" water bottles and pencil with seeds that can be planted. Buffet breakfast is delicious and has healthy DIY vege/ fruit smoothie maker and kids section! We will definitely visit again with our kids!

Beautiful place, really peaceful and doesn’t look like Singapore at all. All the staff are so attentive, friendly and the service are good. The room is spacious and clean, and i love the kids bed with the nook underneath, my kid had fun time to do activities there. We also love the simple detail like complimentary snacks and drinks at lobby and also water and fruit at gym. They even arrange different activities for us to get occupied. Kids can go to kids club, adult can go for yoga or classes. Do check out their available activities at the room TV screen. We also recommend to explore the resort compound, they have extensive boardwalk and bridges, it helps to fulfill your daily 10K steps! A bit lack is the selection of F&B especially for dinner, thus we have to drive out resort to find options for food, nearest would be Bird Paradise/ Wildlife Asia F&B. However if you are looking for short getaway in Singapore, i definitely recommend this resort for family!

Pleasantly Surprised by Our Stay! I came across many negative reviews about this hotel after booking a one-night stay for two rooms, which made me quite worried. However, our experience turned out to be a very pleasant surprise and an enjoyable staycation for my family and me. We managed to check in at 2:30 PM, and both rooms were ready. Since I booked through Trip.com and opted for two twin rooms, we didn’t get connecting rooms—but they were conveniently located next to each other. The rooms were spacious and clean. We didn’t encounter any mosquito issues, possibly because we only spent time at the pool and restaurant areas. The Wi-Fi worked well, and while the air-conditioning was capped at a minimum of 24°C, we were comfortable—plus, each room had a ceiling fan for extra cooling. Breakfast was good, with a dedicated section for kids and a pleasant surprise: free-flow champagne! Parking was complimentary, and we appreciated the free drinks and cookies available at the lobby. Overall, it was a great stay and far better than expected!

Is place is amazing. Initially we read many poor reviews of the hotel due to the new opening causing many hiccups. However i think they received the feedback and really did an excellent job to greatly improved!! None of the bad reviews that I saw was experienced during my stay. The service is impeccable. Staff are friendly and helpful. I could check in RIGHT AWAY, within minutes everything was settled. I checked in an hour early and there was no issues. The rooms are so spacious and most importantly clean. Smells great. There is a fan to ventilate the rooms, which is great because it doesn’t get stuffy if you dont want the aircon. There are no bugs inside the rooms. The room has everything you need. I have to say I’m extremely impressed with the brand of hairdryer they use. It is so good, fast and powerful. For ladies this is a huge plus point. The breakfast spread was AMAZING, dont skip the breakfast you will regret. Swimming pool was nice, overlooking the reservoir. Would 10/10 book again. There is nothing bad about my entire stay. Loved it!

Mandai Wildlife Resort is especially recommended for travellers to Singapore. This is especially so if we’re travelling with young kids as kid’s amenities both within the resort and in the vicinity of the hotel can easily keep our young ones fully occupied for 3 days and 2 nights. Travellers from temperate countries would be especially enticed by the tropical flora and fauna in the area. Minimal view of high rise buildings in the horizon also gives it an equator countryside vibe. Furthermore, we can breathe in fresh air and take in nourishing greens right from the comfort of our rooms, enabling us to connect with nature even without leaving the room. The layout and quality of furniture in the room and toilet are also top notch, and much thought and accumulated experience running premium resorts have clearly been put into it. Considering the location of the accommodation, much work has obviously been done behind the scenes to keep bug counts low in rooms, and mosquito encounters are just occasional, just 2-3 bites a day. Hotel staff are generally welcoming. Many greet you on sight and we can sense the hospitality culture management expects hotel employees to uphold. The green sanctuary did much to make our stay a pleasant one, details which i would not list for 2 main reasons - to ensure guests like you can receive pleasant surprises which you yearn for, and for the host to exceed expectations and not be boxed in by entitled guests. Staff are welcoming in general, in particular Rachel, whose sincerity and welcoming, bubbly smile shines brightly as an x-factor. Rachel, if you see this, stay true to yourself and not let future setbacks take away this shining aspect of you! Overall, due to Singapore’s size, or lack there of, Mandai Wildlife Resort is the go to hotel for travellers. Reasonably priced shuttle buses carry travellers to and from the hotel and town, and the central business district is a mere 30 minutes taxi ride away. Given that comparable hotels in the centre easily cost a few hundred dollars more per night, the rejuvenation you feel staying comfortably away from the hustle and bustle of the city core, the experience of healing comfortably in the rainforest, and then reinvesting part of the huge savings in cabs or chauffeuring services, is a no brainer and well worth it.

I saw southern cross and Venus at the swimming pool area Nice hotel Friendly staff. But the breakfast is pricy For children between age 12 - 17, $61 per pax is too much. They don't drink Champagne . Should consider lower the breakfast price for teenagers

Nice size of room and design, friendly staff , great breakfast with a lot of choices, it’s really a relax and good stay! worth every single cent. Near to zoo and nature.

Very green, stylish hotel near Zoo. Staying here with my child, she was very happy. Helpful staff, good breakfast and dinner, very nice room. Hope sometime to return😍

Overall good experience. Room is clean and staff is nice. Not much food choices but you can take a shuttle to birds park, where a bit more restaurants available. Hotel breakfast is also pretty decent.

Stayed 3D2N. Check-in process was pretty smooth. I booked for lake view room but was given a room that was blocked by trees which was disappointing. Room was clean and comfortable. Food choices was limited to the Forage, The shed or room service. Breakfast at the Shed was rather messy.. plenty of tables but we still had to queue to be seated as tables were not cleared after previous diners. Hope to see improvement if we ever decide to pay to stay there again.

One of the best and unique staycay thet i ever had in singapore. Love then tranquility here. Special thanks to the front desk arifin who attended to us, and going all the extra miles to make this birthday celebration stay a memorable one. The service here is definitely a 10/10 and I'm so glad I extended another night. Everyone made the stay here comfy and felt so welcome. Will definitely come back here again to try the other rooms category!
