We stayed in a Superior Double (No window) for 4 nights and enjoyed the boutique hotel feel.  We normally stay at chain hotels but given the reasonable price and location of Claude, we decided to give this one a try. The service and friendliness of the hotel staff is excellent. The room is clean, compact but makes good use of space and there is air conditioning with a remote control. We stored our 2 carry on luggages under the bed and fit fine. Be prepared to keep things stored in the luggage under the bed and you may need to take it in and out. There is also a in-room safe. Shower pressure is good and 2 bottle waters daily in mini fridge. There is also refreshing iced water in the lobby for the humid days coming back to the hotel. Another perk is the 1 complimentary washer and dryer set that is close by to the front desk. One evening it was not busy, another evening it was busy.  To help with efficiency, I recommend a sign or let hotel guests know to set their own timer on their phone so they come back and move their washed clothes out into the dryer and also a timer to collect their clothes from the dryer so it doesn’t stop the process.  4 to 7 minutes walk to choice of 2 MRT stations: Maxwell or Outram Park.  We took the MRT to/from the airport (1 transfer across platform), around 1 hour.  We checked out of the hotel very happy with our stay. I recommend this hotel for those who do not spend much time in the room except to sleep and do laundry, as we are out exploring the city. We knew we would come back each night to a comfortable room and bed.

Most of all we’re good. Only one thing not comfortable with me. The drain in the shower room was clogged. Laundry machine is available for free.

A Cozy and Convenient Stay at Claude Hotel - Newly Renovated I recently stayed at the Claude Hotel in Singapore and had a wonderful experience. Despite being a small hotel, it is incredibly cozy and thoughtfully designed. Every inch of space is utilized efficiently, and it truly has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The room I stayed in was a windowless one, but it didn’t feel claustrophobic at all. The bed was very comfortable, and the bedding was exceptionally soft and pleasant. Although there wasn’t space for a full wardrobe, the cleverly designed hangers above the desk were a practical solution and kept everything neat. One of the highlights of the hotel is its attention to detail. They provide two bottles of water daily, and there are welcome drinks available, including sweet tea, Coca-Cola, and isotonic drinks. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The hotel’s amenities are fantastic. On the ground floor, there are convenient washing and drying machines with adjustable settings, and they even provide laundry capsules. Another thoughtful feature is the luggage platform on each floor, which makes it easy to transport your bags without struggling with stairs. I also loved the aesthetic touches throughout the hotel. The elevator, as seen in the attached photo, is beautifully designed and adds a touch of elegance to the overall experience. Location-wise, the Claude Hotel is perfect. It’s situated in the vibrant Chinatown area, surrounded by countless restaurants, bars, cafes, and a huge street market. Despite being in the heart of the action, the hotel is tucked away on a quiet side street, so it remains peaceful and quiet. The only minor downside is that you can hear the metro occasionally, but I used earplugs and slept soundly. With three metro stations and bus stops nearby, getting around Singapore is a breeze. Whether you’re a tourist or a business traveler, the Claude Hotel offers excellent value for money. I highly recommend it for its cleanliness, comfort, and unbeatable location.

It was good experience. The hotel provide washing machines too and I can find restaurant and market nearby.

Loge everything about the hotel just that the room is quite small for my husband and I.

Wonderful stay at Claude! Though the hotel is very small and compact but I understand that Singapore is a compact city. The staffing was very kind and helpful, and the washer/dryer set made my trip in Singapore much more enjoyable.

I had an amazing stay! The room is a bit small but the space is very smartly utilized. Receptionists were very friendly and the room was comfortable. Would recommend for couples looking for a place to stay in Chinatown

Fantastic service! The staff went out of their way to let me know when the laundry machine was open. Convenient location close to Maxwell hawker Center and very central. Rooms were clean and thoughtfully renovated

The hotel is new and very beautiful, located in a great area with a lot of restaurants, food courts and more than one subway station. The staff is super nice, always ready to chat, give recommendations about the city and help when needed. The room is very small, not easy to move around, but the bed and shower are realy confortable. It was great for our 3 night stay!

After staying in a few different places while visiting Singapore , I can definitely say that The Claude hotel was easily my favorite  place for this price point by a large margin. You will be hard pressed to find a nicer place for the price. Location was great, seven minute walk from the mrt. Which made getting around super easy. The room was obviously brand newly renovated, extremely clean, and had all the newest tech( lights chargers ac etc all digital and centrally controlled). If I had to say any possible downside , it would be that the noise from the street below( ppl drinking outside on patios) was noticeable until late. And the mrt runs beneath the hotel so you can hear it go beneath the hotel. This was no problem for me but if your a light sleeper or have kids this may be a problem. That being said. Your not gonna stay here with kids as the rooms are “Japanese” designed. Ie, very compact. I’ll be back for my next stay for sure.
