Mercure ICON Singapore City Centre

Location is perfect! Hotel is very new and everything works well! Room is tiny but very efficiently designed. I appreciate that there is a proper separated bathroom with a door. Unlike some hotels with glass bathroom doors which is awkward. Will definitely recommend this hotel! Breakfast was great! Fresh pastries and awesome made to order eggs!

Assigned a queen bed standard room on the highest floor with great city and pool view. Location can’t be beat, minutes away from all the action at Duxton, Telok Ayer nightlife vicinity. Overall Mercure Icon City Centre is an easy recommendation.

The room is extremely small. We are a family of three. And, we hardly move around. To fit the small area, the sink is placed out of the bathroom. However, if size of room is not a concern, it’s a perfect place! Well situated next to China town. Numerous choices of restaurants and a short walk to MRT . Need to give a very positive review on the service too!

The hotel is in a great location. It's a short walk to China Town MRT. The receptionists were fast when checking in and out. The door man, and cleaners were very friendly and helpful. The room is too small. Not even enough space to put 20 kg-luggage on the floor. Negative point is the bathroom room smell from sewer pipe. In addition. The curtain which is just too thin, in plastic, as a net and not able to avoid sunlight directing to the bed. No amenities( except shower gel and shampoo)and slippers so bring your owns.

The location is excellent, at the back of Chinatown, very convenient, near lots of the attractions and MRT stations, lots of food and restaurant nearby, you can buy the food until 12am. The staff is quite nice and helpful, the room is a bit tiny, but neat and tidy, recommend to stay here.

Room is too small, you knock everything basically when you turn. You can barely close the shower door without standing at the corner. Won’t recommend unless you are on a budget

A place I'll never come back to stay again. Was attracted to its price and the brand MERCURE. I stayed a couple of MERCURE hotel within Asia, this is probably my worst experience in a room. But I'll start with the good thing. Staff Attentiveness - 11/10 Always asking guest in lobby waiting for taxis or grab, checking on us if we are fine and etc. Very good. Thumbs up for that. Cleanliness - 6/10 Room is clean, but certain parts of toilet are not fully cleanse like glass mirror. Bed was clean. The TV is awfully full of dust. Probably is because of new hotel, airconditioned are still blowing out dust. I've attached a photo of the TV close up. check out those dust. Room Size - 2/10 I've been to Singapore a lot and quite a number of hotel have this kinda room design, but didn't expect MERCURE to have this design. Literally, words cant be used to explain the small size of the room. Personally, i always look for hotel room with working table. Seeing the 3D images provided in Trip.com the room got working table with the price that is attractive, I proceed to book, but to my suprise, I cant sit at that working table more than an hour. Is probably the most discomfort working space I been in a hotel. Bottomline, I'll never return to this hotel thanks to its room design.

Hotel is new opening. Good location and have a lot of restaurant in surrounding. 2mins walk to MRT station.

Newly opened hotel. Great location but room is very small , particularly the shower & toilet ( made worse by the bin). The design is not user friendly as despite having comparable size ( and price point) with YOTEL Orchard . No safety box . Location is the main attraction with great bars and restaurants within walking distance
