Great hotel in Siliguri The lobby ambience was very peaceful Reception staff are very friendly nature and well behaved Room was clean and spacious.................... Food was very tasty breakfast varieties was awesome. Hospitality was great

I happened to stay at this property on 2nd Jan. My experience is as below and I’ll start with the good first: 1. Food at their restaurant “Grains” is very good even though it’s 100% vegetarian. Special mention to Indira for the fabulous service!! 2. Deluxe room is spacious. Now moving to the bad (yeah…list of good is rather small) 1. Spring mattress is very terrible. Broken pocket/springs that make lying down a very terrible back breaking experience. 2. Toilet is very dimply lit. 3. Wardrobe in room is absolutely bad and very small in size. You can’t possible hang much in there. 4. Wifi is terrible. Max speed that you’ll get is an inconsistent 1Mbps. You be prepared to use your hotspot as the hotel can’t or won’t do anything to fix it. In my case they blamed my laptop and my phone for the terrible speed!! So if you are planning any office work don’t depend on their Wifi. 5. Hotel is on the main road which is very noisy due to traffic. If your room is facing the main road then be prepared for the noise at every hour. Yes…. Night too!! 6. They give 1ltr bottled water per day. Anything more is chargeable!! 7. Chairs, curtains...pretty much everything has food or oil stains and seems have not been cleaned /changed since a long time. 8. There is no space where one you can open a large size luggage so be prepared to keep it on the floor. If you want to speak to the Manager on Duty then that’s not possible as he’s always in a meeting (seems like a very busy ***!!)
