Gerofinikas Boutique Hotel

We had a wonderful stay at the Gerofinikas Boutique Hotel. The location is magnificent, and the view is so breathtakingly beautiful. Thanks to Nasia and Spiros for their excellent welcome. Thanks to Vasiliki for her advice, professionalism and smile. And thanks to Ziyad for his exceptional cuisine, which delighted us every day. We'll definitely be back!

We arrived at this family run hotel and were made so welcome. Spiros was so helpful with tips about Sifnos. The staff were exceptional and attentive when required. The views were dreamy as the hotel overlooks the vivid blue Aegean Sea. The pool area is just beautiful, calming and relaxing. Our rooms were clean and cool. The breakfast was plentiful and we also had lunch one day which was delicious. Just a gem of a place, couldn’t fault it. Picturesque, heavenly and idyllic!

What is not to love about this family run boutique hotel. Firstly, that view upon arrival - quite exquisite. High up and overlooking the bluest of blue waters of the Aegean Sea. Secondly, the very warm welcome by Spiros. This is a gem of a place. Not only are the rooms spacious and clean - with a lovely area outside to sit and enjoy a glass of wine - but everyone is so friendly and accommodating to every need and request. We visited close to the end of a 3 week holiday on the islands of Milos and Sifnos - and I have to say that the evening meal we had in the restaurant here was one of the best we had during our whole holiday. We have to make a special mention of Vassiliki (hope I have spelt your name correctly) who was excellent in serving breakfasts, restaurant meals, coffee, cocktails - in fact everything associated with food and drink. We really appreciated her sense of humour and service with a smile :) The hotel is well situated - a 15-20 minute walk into Apollonia for catching buses to places on the island. In particular it is well worth checking out Kastro - an historic township steeped in history. Spiros will advise on places to visit. A highlight for us was being there on a Sunday and having the opportunity to try the famous Sifnos Chickpea Soup - absolutely delicious. But then, all the food here was delicious. A big thank you to you all for making our stay a very memorable one. And for Spiros driving us down to the port to get the ferry when we left. Very much appreciated. We will be back and cannot rate highly enough the warmth you all extended to us during our stay. A very well deserved 5 stars given. Damyn & Noel :)

This hotel will have you dreaming about coming back for the rest of the year. It’s a family run hotel and the family are extremely hospitable and offer incredible service. Stayed here for a week and couldn’t recommend it more! The breakfast is one of the best hotel breakfast I’ve had, offering Greek treats and amazing coffee. The pool area is so peaceful with incredible views. Big spacious rooms and comfy beds. The location is 10/10, you’re kastro and Apollonia which have the best restaurants.

I can’t describe how amazing this hotel is. The pool area is beautiful, quiet and actually feels like a boutique hotel. The breakfast was amazing and if you choose to have lunch/dinner there you won’t be disappointed. The staff I’ll never be able to praise enough. Unfortunately I had an accident whilst on the way to the hotel and all the staff were so thoughtful, kind and generous. I’ll never be able to say thank you enough times to this incredible hotel. Don’t hesitate about booking this place, it really is beautiful. To really make the most out of the incredible island of Sifnos I would recommend renting transport whilst here. I LOVED this hotel and everything about it. It is in a fantastic location with beautiful views. The room we had was so nice. The breakfast was lush. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The pool was cold but lovely. We were collected at the port and taken back again by the manager for an extra fee. He also organised for us to rent a moped and we went off and explored the island. I'd definitely go back again ❤️
