Very nice location. Free parking and very nice and helpfull stuff. Rooms are spacious but bit oldfashion. If you are not looking for a fancy place, but simple and clean it is a good choice.

Great location and quiet. However it wasn’t clean. The windows were filthy and one could barely see out. Also I asked for ocean view and my request was not granted. It’s too bad because this place has great potential and they just need to put more effort into cleanliness and customer service.

A little tired. Definitely worn around the edges. Decor is 1970’s Rec room and ocean view is a stretch. Clean linens and kitchen (though the previous guest was responsible for cleaning the dishes - no dishwasher-kinda creepy). Wouldn’t stay here again.

We arrived very late due to fight delays , but the NP was still up and about with a warm welcome . Our suite was sea facing , huge, clean with a massive deck . Slightly dated but it had absolutely everything we needed. Super close to the airport, so would definitely use again .

We had a one-bedroom suite, which was spacious with a very comfortable king bed. The clerk was friendly and welcoming and it was nice to have the sea walk just across the street - just a 15 minute walk to the downtown area. On the minus side, the place seems to need some maintenance. Even the "Cedarwood" sign out front only had half the letters working - not a good first impression. The light in our kitchen area didn't work and the TV setup seemed overly complicated. Note to those bothered by the smell of cedar: our suite had lots of it on the walls, which we liked but it does rather reek.

We stayed at the property for one hour and checked out due to BED BUGS, the room smell like an old mattress, someone's hair on the sheets, and the general unsanitary nature of the property. When I requested a refund, the property said that the manager would be in tomorrow to discuss it. Two days later the manager called me and said the following. "You will not be getting a refund in this universe, and we are I hear you are looking for a refund, and this will NOT happen in this lifetime!" then they hung up. They claimed the room was unrentable after we had left the property, see the attached "evidence" of the mess we left! We had some food when we checked in, used the bathroom, and left as soon as we saw the BED BUGS! My only regret is not taking photos of the bedbugs. ZERO STARS, and TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Excellent location, very close to waterfront. Frequent BC buses with nearby stop. The single room with kitchenette is very adequate for a 10-day stay. Amazon deliver to Reception - this provides an easy way of getting an item you forgot. Delightful walkway alongside the waterfront into the city center with frequent benches to rest or absorb the incredible view of the islands. Victoria Airport (YYJ) is nearby but aircraft noise was not intrusive.

We needed accommodation at the last minute near the airport, and the friendly staff at Cedar Wood pulled out all the stops for us. A special thank you to Cid for all her help. The location of the motel proved to be an added bonus, views of the ocean plus shops etc a short walk away 👍🏼

Reservation to check in were pleasant experiences. We chose this Hotel because it was so close to the airport. Airplane noise wasn't bad due to the dual pane windows. Across the street are magnificient views of the Salish Sea. The Room itself was a typical motel room. Nothing fancy but clean and adequate. I agree with a previous reviewer, okay for one night
