Can Garden Beach Hotel

The staff are brilliant, cleaners are so friendly even those not on your floor/block & have never seen you before. Rooms cleaned daily unless you put sign on door. Pool areas are constantly being cleaned all day & evening. Bar staff & waiter service are quick! The food is incredible!! There’s something for even fussy eaters. Lunch at the beach bar is the best with a stunning setting. It’s the hotels own private beach with 100s of sun beds which are free. There is about 45-50 steps from the beach bar down to the beach. Old Town is a long way away (hour in taxi) But the markets are 5minute walk (turn left out of hotel) & some speak really good English. If you want trainers I’d recommend going to the second market in the row & the shop in the middle (next to a huge drinks fridge) is where you will get the best deals. Markets don’t open until 10am but we were there at 9.25am so they opened for us. Only 1 person who is RUDE. Her name is Yasmine, she works to the corner of reception, she is classed as Customer Relations - she has short shaved blonde hair, an older lady & is extremely rude!!! 3 people in our group had to speak to her on different occasions & she was rude to all 3 of us! It did lead to us making a complaint about her. She’s vile. Maybe she just doesn’t like English people - but then don’t work in a multicultural hotel!!!!! All other staff are friendly & helpful. If you want to save loungers you can not leave towels on them before 7am or security takes them away. Overall an amazing stay. We all loved it here. I’d highly recommend this hotel. It’s absolutely stunning!!!!!!

We can really recommend staying in this lovely hotel. The rooms in your own tiny house are super cute and a nice difference to the other hotels in the area which are big and overfilled often. Everything is cleaned up and the Personal is very helpful and friendly. The surrounding to the hotel is great. You can walk to the old side village in about 10 minutes with all its beauty and history. Also for shopping it is the perfect place.

Very relaxing resort with all amenities easily accessible. Public transport was a few metres away and was easy to find. The food was good quality with many choices daily. The beach was also clean and the bus was very frequent.

Fantastic location with many amenities around and a short walk into Old Town. Hotel: Set in lovely grounds are detached chalets so a nice feeling of privacy. Rooms are modern and bright with a lovely bathroom, fridge with water and soft drinks, limited storage space for two adults (suggest a set of drawers). Table & chairs on the veranda so great to sit out with a tea or coffee (facilities in the room with a decent sized kettle). Resort is mostly Germans which was not an issue although we were the only two Brits there. Learned more German than Turkish 😂 All inclusive food is second to none. Great breakfast choices with an egg station for fried eggs and omelettes - lots to choose. Didn’t bother with lunch so much but evening meals were delicious too and they had a Chinese theme night with everything from Sushi to stir fry’s. Beach: Plenty of sun loungers and parasols. Ensure you keep to the hotel’s ones as you may get charged using others?? Sandy with shallow water which goes out quite a way. Just watch out for the rocks in the sea. Bar staff randomly bring drinks and work really hard. Old Town: Beautiful with excavated ruins under glass pavements. Great shops and bars and friendly people. Dahlia bar have great owners and a good resident musician on guitar. The harbour is lovely with nice bars and you can walk to the Apollo for some good holiday snaps. Transfer inbound was far too long (3hours) and booked through Love Holidays. We were told by reception staff that the company used for transfers does not have a good name. We wanted to confirm our return transfer 48hrs before but were only given one number and on answering the guy said this is for emergencies only and ditched the call ??? We tried hard to find another contact number/email but didn’t succeed. Reception told us our time would be logged in the file on the desk around 6-7pm the night before we leave. This seemed too late and not wanting to leave in the early hours, we decided to pay €45 for private transfer. 3am we got a call stating our transfer was waiting? We declined and on checking the file, our names were not listed? Work that out 😡 So be prepared to possibly be let down with transfers. Holiday, resort and location 10/10. Uncertainty of lengthy transfers or none 0/10.

Heerlijk resort op een prachtige locatie. Gezellig park. Leuke kleine bungalows in een prachtig aangelegde tuin. Niet super luxe maar alles was prima! Vooral de locatie was mooi. Rechtstreeks aan zee en boulevard en binnen 5 minuten wandelen midden in Side. Alles keurig schoon en vriendelijk personeel. Wel heel veel (goed verzorgde) katten op het park. Wij vonden dat super gezellig maar als je niet van katten houdt dan is het misschien iets minder. Minpuntjes: vooral duits georiënteerd. Het personeel kan nauwelijks engels en animatie savonds ook alles in het duits.
