Alexia Resort & Spa (+16)

Just arrived back from a 2 week stay at this hotel. I will leave some positive and negative thoughts about our stay. A last minute booking, we felt we had a relaxing time, pool was warm, sunbeds available, although you would need to claim your ‘spot’ by 8am, or you could be searching for beds & umbrellas. A five minute walk to the beach, water very warm, all sand. We were on the lower level, room 1003. Spacious, great shower, view from balcony was not ‘land view’, as stated, it was looking at the back of another hotel, not nice! The covers on the bed did NOT fit the mattress, a thin sheet that that you just pull over yourself. The bedding was not changed within our stay. Air con good, full length mirror, covered by unit and tv…pointless! Entertainment in the evenings poor, foam pool party was one of them, not to our liking, a live band or singer would have been great. Food ok, caters very much for different nationalities, not if you’re British. Unfortunately, I had food poisoning after the first week, so avoided ice, salads, fish and meat, to keep myself safe. Very unpleasant experience, especially when you’re abroad. I used ‘google translate’, to ask if anyone else had come down with it too, they didn’t know and staff speak very little English. We were the only English couple at the hotel. Overall, from our experience, would not return to this hotel.

I do not recommend this hotel. Standard max 3 stars. We paid for a top class room and got a standard and of course the hotel sees no problem. After all, they will replace us in a day, so what's the point. Pool towels cover half a sunbed. Sun loungers crammed in the farthest corners overlooking the windows and the back of the bar. The food is very poor. In general, the choice is lacking. On top of that, no air conditioning in common areas, including the lobby and restaurant. Turkey has always been our heaven on earth, and this hotel, unfortunately, has negatively affected our opinion of the quality of Turkish hotels. For the same money (I point out that not small) you can choose a really sensational hotel.

Hotel is clean and most staff are friendly and food acceptable Mixed nationalitiy guests but all entertainment in German Animation team did all the entertainment which was based on an 18 to 30 clientele and 11.30 cut off time was taken over by very rowdy guests till 4.30 some nights so take earplugs as no attempt was made to keep noise down Having walking difficulties we chose this hotel because of access to the street below but that was locked at 9.00pm and had to walk up a very steep uneven pathway if you got back later

This place is great! The atmosphere is chill and cool. Amazing view, staff is also very friendly. They know what they are doing and what they are talking about and I can tell that making their customers happy is a top priority. I would specially like to thank the guest manager Musa for his charming smile and wonderful care. I am glad that he has managed to put together a good and a professional team. Hidayet, Emre, Selcan and Mehmed, I wish you strength and I am glad that you are doing such a worthy job so well. If I started to thank all the nice people individually, the list would be very long :) . The food was great and the price is 100% worth it. I wish a lot of good and kind guests for you and, of course, success in business!

Me and my partner stayed at this hotel for a week in September, and it went from bad to worse. Please avoid this hotel! When we arrived at the hotel, we were met by a man on reception who seemed to want us out of the way as quickly as possible, he gave us our room card and we were sent on our way. Another reception worker carried our bags into the lift after I asked him twice that I would rather take my own bag up to my room. When we got to our room I was shocked to see it was facing next doors hotel which was something quite literally out of a horror movie, fans whirring so loudly you could hear it with the doors closed, I knew I wouldn’t be able to sleep so we had to go down to reception and pay for what they called a sea view room, which it was if you stuck your head around the balcony wall! The room they had given us, was faulty, the lights keep turning off and the aircon didn’t work, we tried to let reception know about this, but not a single member of reception staff spoke English, they told us that it was working and there were no other rooms, after pleading our situation they placed us in the room next door to us, that funnily enough, was empty, so the hotel wasn’t full! We had paid for a sea view and never got one, however after 2 room changes and a long day of travelling we decided to just stay in that room and try and rest. The hotel was mainly full of Germans, Russians and Polish, who for some reason decided that they didn’t like us and were very rude, they would cut infront of you in queues such as at the bar and the lift. Gave you dirty looks and just ignored you when you tried to be welcoming, they even booed when finding out that you were English. However I must add that this isn’t the hotels fault, but I’d like to make it known to other people who may be looking at this hotel. The staff were also very rude towards us, made it very obvious that they didn’t like us, they would offer everyone else around us drinks, but then ignore us? They would greet the other guests at the hotel upon arriving to the restaurant, but then ignore us when we said hello. This got very frustrating as we were nothing but polite and kind to the staff. The staff even asked us for tips, which was shocking as not a single member of staff did anything that was worthy of a tip. The food at this hotel is not 5* standard, it isn’t catered towards the British, for example, no simple things like toast at breakfast, it was all cooked meats and a small cereal selection. The food standard wasn’t great either, most things slightly heated, even when we arrived as it opened. (However the pool bar food was a better standard) The Al la carte restaurant was absolutely awful, mine and my partners food was brought out at different times so by the time he had finished his dessert, my main course was just arriving! They got my pre ordered food wrong and then said that was what I had ordered. I got a different part of lamb to the rest of the guests that was that well do

Me and my friend are here right now, all they cater for is Russians!!!! so if you like too come here with your tutu n glow sticks 😂 its for you! Playing trance Russian music all day this is the place for you ! 😂 its so loud i couldn't put my music on my phone to drown it out sooo loud, lost my voice after day two trying to shout over the rave music 🙃 and staff so rude and hardly speak English! Do not book here unless your young and Russian or like ibiza clubland music all day guys 🤪
