Side Square Hotel

Last Minute Spring Sun. Start of season so fairly quiet just what we wanted at the time. Lovely Hotel and location very good for a nice slow walk to the Old Town. Just one gripe we had was the selection of food for the English Pallette. Would go back again in the distant future.

Just came back from a week's all-inclusive holiday at the Side Square Hotel. I'm glad we ignored all the bad reviews..it was fabulous for the price we paid! We arrived in the early hours and there was a delay with the room being ready but the reception staff explained this and ensured we had drinks and were comfortable whilst we waited and came and sa with us for a chat. We saw some packed lunches for guests who were checking out and when we asked they gave us one each. All the hotel staff were friendly and majority spoke good English, for those who didnt we managed anyway. All the staff worked really hard and were attentive to make our stay great....and it was! All inclusive food was fine, there was enough variety throughout and was plentiful ..typical Turkish food and we had no complaints. There's enough bars and restaurants in the vincinty to eat out as well, which we did some nights as it so so cheap. Good choice for all inclusive drinks ..local beers, spirits and a list of 6 cocktails as well as soft drinks, self service bottles of water and tea/coffee. If you wanted a more exotic cocktail or top shelf drink then you paid extra...again prices were reasonable. Beds were make everyday and floors mopped. The bonus of this holiday was the hotel was 16 years plus so it contributed to the relaxed vibe. Definitely recommend the side square hotel! I don't understand the bad reviews ...for the price you pay just have realistic expectations and if you're nice to staff, they're nice back!

What a beautiful hotel. I was very curious after reading all the negative reviews but thankfully in my opinion they are not warranted. It seems to be a lot of people who would love to stay at the Savoy and pay Travelodge prices and shop at Harrods on a Primark budget. On arrival we were met by one of the hotel staff who wheeled our bags in. Check in was a breeze and again our bags were taken to our room with us in tow. The rooms are big and spacious and the air conditioning is great. The in room safe worked perfectly and at no charge. The staff are amazing and very friendly and polite. The food is clearly labeled so you know exactly what you are eating. Some food is a little repetitive but there is a least 1 new dish every evening. The quality of the food is great. The pool area is great with lots of beds and seating and the pool is lovely and warm. The staff speak a little English and I was able to communicate, they certainly know more English than I do Turkish. Finally a big shout out to Suleyman who covers the late hotel bar amongst other things, great guy and very friendly I would recommend this hotel to friends and would definitely come back again.

Let’s get this right. I’m here now, room 2117 (I would recommend asking for this room as its perfect position). What on earth are you all complaining about. The staff are amazing, so polite and cant do enough for you. Arrived at 22.30, met us from taxi, perfect check in and were escorted to our room. Fruit platter waiting for us in case we missed the food (how lovely). The hotel is spotless, food amazing and resort wonderful. Ignore all negative comments. Some people are very shallow. Would 100% recommend this beautiful hotel to everyone xx

First of all on the check in they advised us that there is no rooms available for us and another two of our friends, they transferred us to another nearby hotel where we had to spend a night in some ultra small box room with only one double bed, on the 2nd day they advised us that because of this circumstance they offer us a free massage in their hamman ( never happen ) and that on our last day we can stay in ours room and check out late when our transfer to airport it's ready... At the end we been kick out early from ours rooms. They hotel should be only 2 stars rooms are ok but need more cleanings, swimming pool it's dirty and haven't seen anybody cleaning it for whole weeks. Receptionist speak only Russian and generally stuff doesn't speak English. But the worst of the worst it's the food which is tasteless and recyclable everyday and five of us get food poison in the hotel and wasted another day in beds. The only good think about this hotel it's the private beach about 2 km from hotel but the hotel buses running between often. Generally not recommending

My friend and I holiday in Side twice a year. We normally go to a 5* but decided to try this hotel. We were very pleasantly impressed. The hotel is lovely. The staff are great, especially Ameht who is fantastic with people and works extremely hard. The rooms are great and we could always find something good to eat in the restaurant. . The location is spot on and in easy walking distance of all the amenities. This hotel is a gem. Looking forward to returning soon.
