Friendly and local are the two words I would use two describe the Rhino Tourist Camp. Camp boss Jackson is helpful, caring and friendly. He will also teach you a few local Kenyan sayings. The cook, George, is caring and always asking for feedback.
A real highlight was the bon fire on our first night where we met fellow travelers. This time, a group of Kenyan friends that we shared stories and life insights.
On the second night, we had a similar opportunity to meet with a local Kenyan tour group who we ran into earlier in the day but the sun had taken its toll so we turned in early.
A real feel for the local Kenyan community at Rhino Tourist Camp with Jackson and his team.
I would highly recommend for those looking for a unique experience.

I had a nice time and memeorable time staying at rhino tourist camp. They have nice amenities, you get hot showers after a tgamedrive and the food is also nice. The staff are always available to help where needed. The night bonfire were fantastic.

Excellent service, from security to chef and to cleaners, very welcoming. I recommend 👍. I will still visit and invite more friends with me. I came on 1st March 2025 and stayed to 3rd March 2025. The meals were so excellent , I encounter any challenges .

very good. The rooms was good and food was well cooked. we liked the night environment. good work done. Security was well. the services were good we cant complain. we loved the rooms . we will choose you when we visit the place again. Good work done.

Loved staying here while exploring Masai Mara! The staff were incredibly hospitable and friendly, George in the kitchen remembered ii was vegetarian and would point out what I could and couldn't eat each meal. Silvia greets you and assists with bags and shows you around, she was so lovely. I was blown away by the camping tents! They were huge, the beds were firm but my back really enjoyed that after being in a car all day. I had a private attached bathroom with hot water and western toilet. I was not expecting 24hr electricity with lighting and power points. Could not have asked for a better place to stay while in this beautiful part of the country.

I had a wonderful 5-day stay at Rhino Tourist Camp. The camp is simple but offers everything you need—clean tents, good food, and friendly staff who go above and beyond. The location is ideal for exploring the Maasai Mara, and the peaceful atmosphere was perfect for unwinding after busy days. Great value for money, and I’d definitely stay here again!

The equipment used by the Rhino Tourist Camp crew was in perfect working order, and the mattresses were incredibly spacious. The setting is great—perfect for a safari—and the personnel was excellent. The food was delicious.I'll advise you to reserve a safari at Rhino Tourist Camp. I appreciate you giving me the greatest tour.

Masai Mara is a must visit. This safari was amazing. the guide was quite friendly and well spoken. Our stay at Rhino Tourist Camp was perfect. am incredibly greatful to the staff at the camp for being so attentive to our preference. This safari was beyond memorable.

I combined work and nature on a 5-day business trip to Maasai Mara while staying at Rhino Tourist Camp. The camp was a great choice—peaceful, comfortable, and well-situated for game drives. The staff were attentive, and the meals were hearty, which made long workdays much easier. Plus, stepping out into the wild after meetings was the perfect way to recharge.
