The best B and B we have ever stayed in and we have stayed in quite a few. Louise is a lovely host, lovely clean room, great breakfast and delicious home made cake! - it really is a great place to stay, and we loved Shrewsbury which is a nice 15 minute walk into town (to burn off the cake)!! Also visited Ludlow on the train which was well worth visiting Thank you for a lovely stay Jan and Vic

All was excellent,, welcoming, friendly and helpful host, excellent breakfast with lots of choice, room was clean, comfortable and well equipped, wifi worked well, good location for town centre and exploring the county, hope to come again.

Arrived at Anton guest house with a very warm welcome from Louise. Upon booking I had mentioned it was my birthday whilst we were staying and she had kindly baked a lovely cake and bought me a bottle of fizz. The guest house itself is immaculate with very comfy beds and hospitality tray with buiscuits and chocolate and plenty choice of drinks. Exceptional breakfast with lots of choice. There is also different cakes and biscuits to help yourself to in the dining room Short walk about 15 mins to the town centre and there is a lovely park next to the river for a stroll with lovely gardens. Good choice of eatery places for dining in the town centre.

Fantastic warm hospitality a short distance from Shrewsbury town centre. Stellar breakfast with lots of choices, and comfortable spacious rooms, and good pubs walking distance nearby. There is parking available on the street in front.

The most complete and welcoming guest house you will ever stay at where absolutely everything has been thought about and catered for.The food is first class even down to Louise’s homemade cakes that are offered for whenever you choose to taste and enjoy.A really nice touch in the dining room is a fridge and microwave for guests to use should you need to.We had a lovely 2 nights in the most comfortable Dove room even with your own Netflix channel.The town centre is an easy 10/15 minute walk making it an ideal location and an excuse to walk off the delightful breakfast.Our advice would be don’t take our opinion just go there and see for yourself

A really excellent B&B. Friendly and welcoming host. Parking on the street is free and there’s plenty of it. Great location, a short 10 minute stroll into the main town centre. Big room, comfy bed, lots of extras - bathrobes/slippers/water/chocolate, even a tea pot to make a cuppa in your room….much better than in any hotels I’ve stayed in recently. Home baked cakes available in arrival, a help your self table. Really nice touch! Breakfast was fabulous, such a varied menu, we were spoilt for choice. Everything was freshly cooked and served piping hot, again, better than some recent hotel stays! Highly recommended.

This is simply the best B&B ever. The welcome is wonderful, home made cake and biscuits, fresh milk available and the option to bring back a take away and reheat it in the microwave and eat it in the dining room. The rooms are comfortable and spotlessly clean [ i think over the years I've slept in all of them]. Comfy beds, nice pillows, spares and extra duvets if needed. A very well stocked hospitality tray with most hot beverages on offer including herb teas, biscuits and chocolates. Handy things such as a corkscrew and a manicure set. The breakfasts are wonderful with masses of choice. I look forward to a return visit.

Excellent and welcoming host. Lovely added touch of homemade cake on arrival for guests. Room pristine, with all facilities as expected. Very tasteful breakfast, couldn’t find any faults with our stay. Would stay here again if we ever visited Shrewsbury in the future. We’ll highly recommend this guest house to family and friends if visiting the area. 10/10 value for money!
