The Abbey Lodge Hotel

We were very impressed with this small hotel. Everything as expected. Clean, comfortable beds. Great breakfast and a lovely friendly welcome and all for a very good price. Very good location for visiting Saltaire and surrounding Yorkshire Dales. If we are in this area in future we would have no hesitation in booking again. Thank you

Pleasant hotel that does a fine Full English breakfast has well appointed comfy rooms and helpful staff. Conveniently located for Saltaire Village (a few minutes walk) and a good election of eating establishments. Only criticism is the lack of parking, not a major problem but a mild annoyance.

We used this as our stop over while attending the Saltaire beer festival. Lovely family run hotel, big car park to the rear, welcoming staff. We had a large room on the top floor with every thing you’d need for a sort stay. Breakfast menu was a bit limited but we enjoyed what we had.

Brilliant find. Made to feel so welcome. Very helpful. Breakfast was perfect. Would highly recommend. We stayed here before going to Leeds Bradford airport. The room had everything you needed and was very very clean. Will certainly use again

Stopped here for impromptu overnight stay when flight cancelled from Leeds Bradford Airport on Thursday night. What a little Gem. Spotlessly clean and excellent value for money. Arrived very late only 30 mins after booking and received very warm welcome by night staff. Room 106 large , comfortable and very clean. We were amazed that the prices included breakfast which was also excellent using only local quality produce. Staff were all lovely. We have stayed in many hotels at double this price nowhere as nice with first class customer service. We had time to kill in the morning pending a rebooked flight in the afternoon and was only five minute walk to town centre shops and cafes. Would not hesitate recommending.

Lovely helpful staff who went out of their way to help us and made us feel very welcome. Delicious food. Good choice at breakfast. Front of hotel and garden well presented. Comfortable bed and clean bright rooms. Only half a mile to Shipley station and a 5 minute walk to shopping parade and occasional local market.

Booked a double and single room for 3 nights and were joined by another couple for one night and were very impressed from start to finish. Efficient friendly booking, lovely welcome, clean, modern room with everything we needed and an excellent breakfast each morning. Close to Saltaire and Bradford, we'll definitely stay here again as there is lots in the area to see and do.

They were very friendly the room was spotless and a huge comfy bed, breakfast was local produce and the whole place had a lovely friendly feel to it , went up for work and was delighted I had booked there hotel . Would definitely stay there again

The hotel was well placed and easy to find with parking available. I was very disappointed with the room. It was clean, but that was its only redeeming feature. The room was small, the ceiling was sloped over half the room with the bed pushed under the slope, I could not sit up in the bed without banging my head, (wich i did several times until i got used to the room layout) if getting up in the night to go to the toilet it was a shuffle down the bed and even when I stood up I had to stay ducked down untill I was at the very bottom of the bed so that I avoided striking my head. The room was also extremely hot. There was a fan in the room, but the dial for the timer was missing. This meant I had to search around for something like a nail file or knife to turn the dial. The pictures that show the rooms on the websites are not a true representation of the room that we ended up with. I will most definitely never use this hotel again.
