The Orchid Hotel Shimla

The service we received during our stay was outstanding. Our server was attentive without being intrusive, ensuring that our needs were met promptly. They were knowledgeable about the menu and offered excellent recommendations based on our preferences. The staff’s specially thanks to Mr Nitesh Rana and parince , utesh friendliness made us feel welcomed and valued throughout our dining experience. Additionally, any minor issues we encountered were handled swiftly and professionally, which enhanced our overall satisfaction.

The food was exceptional, with each dish beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The service was equally impressive; our server was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. Thank you to the restaurant manager Mr Nitesh Rana and his team , Dalip , mohan for ensuring such a wonderful dining experience!

Stay at this hotel at 2 night , hotel are very good special thanks to Mr Nitesh Rana from restaurant they are very good and helpful person , food are very good thanks Nitesh and anil . Stay are very good and comfortable. Shimla are very nice place .

The property is next to a highway, offers peaceful surroundings, and is about a kilometer away from Shimla in Theog. The property has a view of the valley. Excellent check-in service and a warm, traditional greeting are examples of the hospitality. The staff is not intrusive and is really kind and polite. We appreciate Parul for her friendly and helpful nature she treat our children very gently.she help us like family member and the desk staff's prompt assistance and friendly demeanor. After a lengthy road journey, they also offer a car wash service next to the hotel, which is really helpful.

Amazing hotel and very wonderful staff.. quick response time from staff Great views, great hospitality, not ij a too crowded area so can feel the quiet and beautiful life of shimla, Centrally heated property.. rooms very big and spacious Lovely food, especially Mr Nitesh rana ans his team , sakshi , dalip took very good care of us Nicely maintained property..

We stayed as a party of five family members covering three generations in age. I went with my sister, nephew, my daughter and my 93year old mother. The trip was as a treat for my Mother as we had all travelled to India from England and wanted Mother to see Shimla and not only the Punjab. We were welcomed by Nikita and Nikhil and given scarves and the traditional topi for my nephew. That very gesture set the pace for three days of a beautiful stay in a lovely hotel with scenic views. We had rooms with a view and they were very comfortable. Exceptionally clean. The housekeeping staff were a credit to the hotel. They were always helpful with beautiful smiles and manners. Dipika in the roof top restaurant was a credit to the hotel. She should be promoted. Her demeanour was of a very professional and kind young woman who went beyond the call of duty. Nitesh and Chander in the downstairs cafe recommended going shopping at Mall Road and going to Kufri. We had a wonderful day doing that and my Mother thoroughly enjoyed going to both places. Shopping was a fantastic experience and there were so many different artisan shops to buy from. We had fantastic food in both restaurants and the service was impeccable. The only blip we had was on the last night our food was cold but very tasty. We bought this to Dipika’s attention and she handled the complaint with dignity and grace. She got Nitesh to come upstairs to speak to us as did the executive chef .. they were all very kind and as we explained though the food was cold it was still very nice. We were told that there was a very large party going on downstairs and due to that it had resulted in the food arriving upstairs a little too late. As the complaint was handled in such a professional manner we did not mind as these things happen. If the staff had not been so professional maybe I might have taken a star off in my marking however I gave the full five stars. I am now wanting to make another trip to India and Shimla and this time I shall be taking my husband and staying there longer. Three days was not long enough to enjoy Shimla or the hotel. To the wonderful staff and deputy manager Abishek I would like to say “Thank You” for making our stay so very pleasant. You made my Mother very happy and that for me is priceless. So would I recommend the Orchid Hotel? “Hell, yes!!”
