Windermere Resort, Shillong is one of the aesthetically designed, beautiful resort in Shillong which is on a quiet location. If you want to enjoy serenity of the nature, being little away from the busy citi life, then this is one of the most beautiful and affordable resort. We stayed here for 4 nights from 15/10/24 to 19/10/24, in a family room which was located on the terrace, and the room was huge, with all modern amenities. The part of the open roof can be accessed from the room and it was so delightful to see the citi and the mountain ranges afar. Behavior of each and every stuff was very polite and they had happily answered each and every query of us. There are so many different options available in food and we enjoyed our dinner everyday with different dishes. The options available during breakfast is bit limited, but even though it is full of healthy and tasty choices. The entire resort area is pleasingly serene, beautiful and safe. If visiting Shillong, we will always prefer to come back to Windermere.

Beautiful resort. Big and clean rooms. First class service. A bit far from the town, but local taxis are easily available. They have restaurants and bar, and we really loved the Bistro cafe there. Reasonably priced. If I visit Shillong, will definitely plan to stay here. BTW they have a very nice indoor swimming pool. 5star for me.

This hotel was booked by my travel agent Alika Das +91 91 3232 555 9 from Uphoria Travels. There was no one at reception when we came. We looked around and waited. Finally I called out and the receptionist came running. Apparently there was big group and they were showing around the place. After travelling from Kaziranga for 7 hrs it was a disappointing reception . However the place was superbly clean and polished so I felt at ease. The place itself is very nice and spacious. The room was spacious too with all ammenities and lots of complimentary goodies. The room was very clean and deodorised well. All equipment from heater to drier was working. Bathroom was clean and spacious with ample hot water. Breakfast was mid with average food. Though coffee machine was available it was chargeable and coffe powder was made available afterwards. This is a nice quiet place with lots of birds to sit and watch.

It is a beautiful property.we visited Shillong during first week of dec 24.We were given rooms which were lawn facing with stunning view of city ,in backdrop.Rooms are spacious and clean, washrooms too were well mentained.The campus is huge and being on higher location it has lovely views. The hotel menue ,though limited,is top class. It definately is four star, Our special thanx to Mr joes and Ms Shaheen .

We stayed here during my North east holidays on 12th November,24. Too good resort. Rooms are clean & tidy. Front office staff is soft spoken & polite. Wide spread food & tasty. Room service is very quick. Good nature view from the property. Large parking area. Swimming pool is very good maintained a 30 deg C water temperature through out. Overall a pleasant stay.

Windermere Inn is one of the best hotels in Shillong, where we stayed for 3 nights. I highly recommend choosing a room with a balcony to enjoy the stunning view of Shillong city. The service was excellent, and the rooms were beautifully designed with a touch of luxury. They provided all necessary toiletries, and the complimentary snacks were a pleasant surprise. We dined at their Bistro 16, and the food was exceptional. I highly recommend trying their continental cuisine and the Cupid Love mocktail—it was simply the best. The property itself is beautifully maintained, and the price we paid was absolutely worth it. With great staff, delicious food, and a cozy, comfortable stay, Windermere Inn is highly recommended!

There are two options to stay at this place Windermere hotel and Windermere resort. This review is about resort. Beautiful wonderful property away from hustle bustle of City. Quite and peaceful area. Staff is wonderful and take care of you well. We were 3 people and they made sure that we had everything from cutlery to toiletries for 3 people. There restaurant serve delicious food, their service could be slow in the restaurant is full.. There is another restaurant in Windermere hotel also but you have to pay separately there and can not add in your hotel room bill. Good was delicious there also. Overall a very nice stay loved it. Would highly recommend it.

I have visited Windermere Resort with my family this month, and we were completely enraptured with the beauty of the resort and the natural surroundings as well.The rooms were spacious,and all the amenities were there.The service was top-notch,paying special care to everqy needs and wants of the residents. I would like to mention special thanks to Ms.Hun, who accompanied and assissted us through any problem we faced with servility.The food was delicious,providing a wide range of food items according to ones taste.To conclude, the place was absolutely beautiful,and will definitely visit again with my family

Horrible service, the manager Joyce karmujai is so rude and does not know how to behave with the guest. No cleanliness services provided , bathrooms are not at all up to the mark.would not recommend anyone , the price they charge and the service they provide is a wastage.
