Tripura Castle is a gem of heritage and tranquility. Nestled in Shillong’s serene hills, it offers impeccable hospitality, elegant colonial charm, and breathtaking views. The rooms are luxurious, the food exquisite, and the staff incredibly warm. Our one-night stay with my parents was unforgettable—a perfect blend of comfort and nostalgia.

The title of this review stems from the fact that we were upgraded to a suite late at night, for the cottage we had booked was close to open air restaurant where live music was playing too loud at night. Electric buggies are available to ferry you from reception to rooms. Accommodation for drivers is available on first come first served basis. Not guaranteed.
