Had an amazing stay with my family, room was spacious with stunning view and everything was taken with care.

We stayed at the MO’s Skyline view room and the view was magnificent.  Service and staff were also excellent. However I have 2 comments for hotel: 1) breakfast buffet needs more variety; 2) bathroom floor including shower stall was all laid in marble.  It got very slippery when wet after each use. The hot water wasn’t hot enough even when turned to highest setting.  Overall, hotel was beautiful and location perfect for us at the Upperhills area.

Check in was very smooth and we enjoyed the upgrade to the Mandarin Club. The service there was very intimate. Being next to the shopping mall was definitely a bonus! Love to come back.

Thanks to chief concierge Jason & Guest relations manager Williams Yu who went above and beyond to craft a spectacular stay. Charlie at Mandarin Cake Shop also made us fell in love with the MO brand! Mandarin Oriental Shenzhen is our favourite in Shenzhen. We will be back♥️

Great hotel. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Located close to the CBD but far enough away so it's more relaxing. Nice parks next door and lots of food options in the mall below. Breakfast at the hotel is yummy and has lots of options.

Second time staying at the same hotel, fantastic service as expected from mandarin oriental! The spa was great! Staff are always friendly and more than helpful!

I recently stayed at the Mandarin Oriental Shenzhen, and it was absolutely amazing! The views from my room were breathtaking, overlooking both Shenzhen and Hong Kong. The rooms were super spacious and had all the modern comforts you could ask for. I loved dining at their restaurants—each one had something unique and delicious to offer. The spa was a real treat, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home. Whether you're visiting for business or just to relax, this hotel is a fantastic choice!

Duty Hotel Manager doesn't told the guest while some higher floor have renovation here. But no disclose when conversation in email.In last time when in front desk check in then told to guest they can't have any arrangement there. It's very disappointing and not acceptable this service from M.O. in Shenzhen.

Excellent service and amazing room! We love everything and will for sure come back! First of all, the location is great, just 30mins to HK border, and they have a cross-border HK-SZ Bus nearby. The service is excellent, from the warm-welcoming from Nicole at the check-in, to Alex, who introduces us the room was so sweet and cheerful. We dinned at two restaurants and restaurant manager Robin always remembers us and chat with us, even in the morning at breakfast, it felt like home! My parents was in SZ and came visited, Rose and Bonnie arranged everything for us at the MO CLUB! Bravo! The bed is comfortable and the room is stylish and very quiet. Kelly at the Spa was the sweetest. She always ask for our needs, suggested us some amazing treatments and at the end gave us a SPA Gift! We are Fans of M.O.!

Ok I got a lot to say about the Mandarin Oriental Shenzhen - a hotel with luxurious amenities but lacking basic breakfast provisions… Dyson hair drier, toto washlet, glass bottled water are all under expected. MO shenzhen used very highend sanitary fitting brands, reliable and taken very good care of. I am very picky on sanitary fittings and cleanliness and I have not noticed any issues. Kudos to the housekeeping team. One must understand what sets MO apart from other hotels is the impeccable attention to details. Its interior design is far superior to other Shenzhen hotels. If you are architecture fan and are tired of the substandard detailing in other Shenzhen hotels please do try MO shenzhen. Now… the problem for me was with the breakfast. It occurred to me that MO focused way too much on cantonese food and was probably swayed by foreigner’s perception of what “oriental culture” consists of. Granted that the food was of high quality - good sauce good ingredients. But it is rly rly rly basic to provide rice. In every top hotels I visited around Asia, I never had to miss fried rice. It was very dissimilar experience in MO compared to Ritz carlton I stayed few weeks before - who probably had 3 times more variety of offerings. I wouldnt hesitate to pay extra if there was a better breakfast offering - as many would understand that this is just attitude issue. The greatest hotel service in Asia. MO group is known for this and I cannot agree more. I knew of this ever since many years ago when I was in Guangzhou MO next to Taikoo. Overall, as said earlier, MO shenzhen gave me mixed feelings. I am astounded by the cleanliness, detailing but I cannot hop on the MO Fan boat yet because of the breakfast. Aiya!
