My second time to stay here and I really liked it once again! There was a small issue the first night where my room had a lingering smell of cigarette smoke. The offered to change my room but when I checked the other room, it also smelled of smoke. It was as if a guest in another room was smoking and it traveled through the vents. By the second night the smell was gone.

Location was good and easy access to metro station , Clean , nice . staff at the front desk was friendly . especially housekeeping lady serve at floor nine, was very friendly and helpful.

It feels like a hidden gem! I am Korean and I went to Shenzhen, China for a business trip. Considering my schedule in Shenzhen, I looked for several hotels but hesitated a bit before choosing this one. It was about 500m away from the Nanshan subway station, and there were no large shopping malls nearby. However, after visiting this hotel, all my regrets disappeared. It was easy to get to the hotel by subway directly from Shenzhen Airport without needing to transfer, and the hotel was also conveniently located near the subway station. In addition, it was fascinating to observe the daily lives of the Chinese people around me. Above all, the hotel staff were extremely friendly. Although they did not speak English well, we managed to communicate politely in Chinese without any issues using a portable interpretation device. Isn't this one of the charms of traveling and going on business trips? Of all the hotels I’ve stayed in, this one left the deepest impression on me. This hotel is an excellent choice for both family vacations and business trips. It feels like a hidden gem, a hotel I wouldn’t want to share with other Koreans. (Seoul, Rep of Korea)

Grand Mercure Nanshan was a great choice for family. The room was clean and spacious. Staff members were all friendly and helpful. The breakfast selection was decent. Will book grand mercure again when we come Shenzhen.

The hotel is spectacular with the best room and excellent food to enjoy the vacation. Additionally, the staff was very willing to help me at all times. Without a doubt, I will return again and I recommend having this experience. They also have a Japanese-style bathroom with an excellent bathtub. 🥰❤️
