Amenities are quite old and needs repair. The location is okay, there is a subway in front of the hotel’s entrance. If you have heavy luggage, might be hassle to carry it as there’s 4-5 staircases you need to step on in order to enter the entrance of the hotel. It’s about 15-20 mins didi ride to Shenzhen Huanggang port. No need to worry for food as there were many restaurants downstairs and it’s just across the old Walmart. Good thing, I had a hassle-free check out. Another plus point is the added security through an access door before you may enter the hallway for the rooms. It’s just that, the amenities inside the room are old and broken.

The hotel was in the right spot in Shenzhen, and reasonably priced.
However, the smoke smell in the room gave both of us a sore throat.
Moreover, they got into the room to change the towels even though we left the "do not enter" sign outside.

Well, aside from the room being in the middle of the hotel that didn’t have any windows it was a pleasant stay. I do wish that I wasn’t in that room for the entire day since it was such a long stay, but I guess you get what you pay for.

The hotel was well located with plenty of places for food and close to the technology center that we wanted to visit in Zhenshen. The staff was very friendly and help us a lot besides the problem with the comunication.
Our room was a bit dark but we knew there was no window so it was ok. Clean sheets and toilet was ok as well.

I left an umbrella in the room and couldn’t get it back. Very disappointed because I couldn’t even contact the hotel via the online app and there was no one who could help me. Room 1016 is terrible, no window, dirty bathroom, smells of cigarettes even when the aircon is running
