I didn't eat there so I can't comment, my room was clean and warm (it was only 3°C outside). Staff were friendly and accommodating. They also have a 50% discount for the carpark next door. I have stayed here before and I probably will again.

value for money

Good location, small hot rooms, we were on the top floor, the window opened 5 cm, August -UK Summer. The view of my room was literally a brick wall of the other building. It wasn’t a nice experience, but it you want a no frill bed then the hotel delivered but if you want a hotel experience then seek others. Location of the hotel is near the old Castle market, plenty of homeless and loud people. Wished I remembered to take a picture of the brick wall outside my window.

I am Benny Mok(the register name is WAI-FU MOK), spent three days there at ROOM 211 from 31/7/2022 to 2/8/2022 in summer & I found that all the facilities in the hotel were superb & I was highly satisfied. The only shortcoming was there was a long weird sound when flushing at the bathroom. There might be some problems in the toilet bowl hose. Otherwise than that, I highly recommend this hotel cuz all the staff members at the hotel ARE SUPER FRIENDLY, welcoming, cheerful, caring including the housekeeping ladies ! Last but not least, the receptionist ~KARRA RIPPON. karra was the most patient, helpful, amicable , devoted, loving, thoughtful & caring staff member over there & there is no doubt about that! Would you mind sharing this inspiring message with this excellent receptionist and tell her that the inspiring message was from a HONG KONG IMMIGRANT FAMILY ? Many thanks & I owe you one!

酒店位置還是不錯的，雖然離景區大門有點遠，但是也就十幾分鍾就會走到了。疫情影響還是比較大，相對往年來説人少了不少。這次也沒有去景區，留待下次秋天來看紅葉和冰川了，總的來説，還是值得推薦的。

房間很大，但是有一股説不出來的不好聞的味道

My first time at this hotel and it was a very pleasant experience. It is a flat walk from the railway and bus transport hubs and easy walking distance to the city centre and also The Crucible which was my reason for staying (10-15 minutes walk) All of the staff I met were warm and very friendly. The food was typical fayre but very nicely cooked and presented. I iike the security aspect where anyone entering the hotel after 10pm has to be buzzed in on confirmation of their name and room number. I shall definitely be staying here again on future visits to Sheffield.

Other than the location this hotel is fairly poor. The TV is not mounted on a wall facing the bed, instead it's to the side of the bed meaning if you both want to watch TV one of you will have to prop themselves up to look over the other. Not that watching TV is really my thing in a hotel but it's an incredibly strange place to put it considering the wall opposite the bed is completely clear. I do very occasionally take a firestick with me if there's a game of football I want to watch on my NowTv but if you're planning this be sure to bring an extension lead as there are no plugsockets nearby. Water pressure was bad, took about 30 seconds to fill the tiny hotel kettle. Shower water pressure was dreadful. There was no handsoap. There was no bath mat. We requested replacement towels and a top up of tea and milk. Kind of anticipated the bed being made and the mugs being replaced with clean ones but neither of these happened. No plug sockets next to the bed to charge phones. Could hear phones vibrating in the room next door such is the thinness of the walls. A fridge would also be nice.

Natalie, Helen and Richard were quality! Very helpful and funny! Can’t recommend them enough- made our stay amazing! Would definitely come again just to see them! Drinks went down a treat all night long and made new friends for life!!!!!!!

Wow helen Natalie and Richard on nights this weekend were absolutely brilliant! thank you all of you for being you, really appreciate you all ,looked after us,nothing was to much trouble for any of them,we are definitely coming to stay here again, when they ate working that is :)

Had a lovely stay here last weekend the staff were lovely, room was clean and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. I would like to say a big thank you in particular to Helen, Natalie and Cameron they could not have done enough for me and my partner I Recommend staying here 😀

Good service from Karra and her team.Arrived very early for a 12pm check in.Thought i'd try my luck and asked if we could change our room to one with 2 beds so my brother didn't have to sleep in the chair.LOL. They were happy to do that and also get the room ready early so we were in the room just after 10.30am.The room was clean and we slept well for the 4 nights.The toilet was a bit low but i think that was because it was a family room.The bath surface was a bit slippery so be careful if having a shower. Now onto the UNLIMITED breakfast.Selection of cereals,yoghurt,fruit,tea and coffee and also lots of hot food.I mentioned the mushrooms were running low and they were topped up in no time. We went for the Snooker and it's a 5 minute walk from the Crucible. So very happy with our stay
