Camel Dive Club & Hotel - Boutique Hotel

We came as my husband is a diverse he has been here before my first time i do not dive but the hotel is fabulous. The food is great so much choice for everyone's taste. The pondoro is a great restaurant to eat again a lot of choices. Ahmed my server is wonderful. He went out of his way to make me feel very welcome.

A truly amazing diving holiday. The dive centre is very professionally run and I enjoyed my expert and friendly tuition from Sayed, who helped me achieve my Advanced and Nitrox certifications. I really like the relaxed vibe on the dive boat, with a super helpful and safety conscious team and lunches on board were great. My favourite dive site was Jackson Reef, which we visited twice during my stay. The water temperature at the end of Jan was 22c. I was wearing my own 3m wetsuit where 5m would have been more appropriate at this time of year I think. Our rooms (210 and 211) were comfortable and immaculately clean and hotel staff were friendly and helpful. We particularly liked the roof top bar, which is a chilled out place to share stories with other divers - a shout out to Bill and Russell who were most entertaining. The hotel is nicer than the area around it hence we didn’t feel the need to go off base much in the evenings. It was good value for money hence I plan on making this an annual trip. Most of the other divers I spoke with had been using this company for years, which is clearly a strong endorsement.

Best week ever!! Visited in May as a large group and I had my first time snorkeling. All staff (on the boat, at reception and in the restaurant) were really welcoming and helpful. Went above and beyond to ensure everyone was safe and enjoying themselves. Rooms and Camel.Tribe were always pristine.

I made a last-minute decision to stay at this hotel, recommended to me by Regal Dive over the phone. Its not a huge hotel, but it has an amazing pool used for dive training. The pool is deep, warm, and exceptionally clean. If you are a non diver you would pretty much have the pool area to yourself most of the day as most of the guests will be on a boat. The hotel is well-managed, and the staff are friendly, always smiling, and eager to help. The hotel restaurant, open to the public, is probably the best in the area. It might be slightly more expensive than others, but you get a 10% discount if you're staying at the hotel. For divers, there’s a great post-dive area to share a beer and chat. The rooftop terrace extends happy hour until 7:00 PM, which is perfect for swapping dive stories. The hotel is located in the best part of town. If you’re looking for variety, there’s a great Egyptian restaurant Daneer to the right where I had a colossal t-bone steak with freshly made bernaise sauce for under £10, a KFC is also just around the corner.  What impressed me most was the quality of service and attention to detail. Nothing seemed to be a problem for the staff, offering a refreshing change from large, all-inclusive resorts with loud music. If you're here to dive, I don't think you could find a better place to stay. The hotel serves alcohol, and the pizzas from the restaurant are fantastic. There's also a wonderful ice cream shop within the hotel, offering great ice cream to end your day. The rooms are comfortable and of satisfactory size. The water pressure and air conditioning are both good, and the small balcony is a great spot to relax, it also has hanging points for wetsuits and dive equipment. The fridge is plenty big enough for a couple of bottles of water or beers you might pick up across the street, although the hotel’s beer prices are excellent, so it’s not necessary to leave.  I did bring some white wine with me since the local wine quality might not be up to European standards, but that's not a criticism. Overall, a huge thank you to the whole team for a great experience!

I didn't stay at camel dive centre accommodation so I can't comment But I first dived at this centre around 2002 then again around 2004 when I did a rescue course. Always professional with friendly instructors, not the cheapest in naama bay but you get what you pay for! They will take you boat diving even with just 1 customer, a far as I'm aware no other dive centre will do this. Hannah was especially professional and the dive briefings were very clear, professional and thorough. The dives themselves were at a very relaxed pace I like to go slowly and look for the micro life in the reefs not just the big stuff. So this was perfect. The dive gear was a bit old and tired but I would say well maintained and nitrox was included in the price. all in all if you want hassle free diving, will plenty of time to get ready ( I hate being rushed as I'm on holiday i like a nice chilled pace, just like my diving) the only negativity I saw was an elderly diver damage the reef whilst taking pictures and video with less than perfect buoyancy control, but unfortunately I have seen this many times before around the world, your better off taking a professional photographer the dive, they will take far better video and photos than amateur divers ever will and you will be included in the video. I think instead of wasting time shopping around your probably better to go straight to camel for a hassle free experience . All the best guys

Hotel: So nice and clean rooms. Nice and friendly service, especially Yssar, who had to experience the most angry behavior from the divecenter. Divecenter: Not enough diveguides. No lifeboats on daylyboats No lifewests on daylyboats Very bad behavior from diveguides, (not my private guide, who is one of the best) Moved from boat to boat almost every day.
