Coral Sea Holiday Resort and Aqua Park anmeldelser

Spent 2 weeks here & loved every second. Check in was a breeze & swiftly taken to our room by golf cart. We stayed in block N/9 room 14320. There's no lift which is tiring in the heat. We had a sea view but It's not the premium ones you pay for. Our room was spot on with the biggest bed I've seen. Our cleaner was also great. Our room was always cleaned & we had clean towels whenever we needed. The grounds are absolutely spotless. There's gardeners working tirelessly in the heat to maintain this. We spent our days around the main pool just infront of the lifeguards hut. We were always the first down there. Every morning I had the pool to myself for usually at least an hour. The lifeguards were really good. We tipped some very regularly. The one from Alexandria we spoke a lot with in the morning too. He would tell us things about Egypt, his hometown & anything else we wanted to know. The guys around the pool who would bring your drinks were good to. You don't get service like this anywhere other than Egypt in our experience. We did tip often but they still would sort you out if you didn't. All the pop was from bottles along with the water. Having ice isn't a issue if you were wondering. The animation team were OK even if one was really annoying! Swim academy & football academy were my standouts even though we never done either. Did venture in sea once. It's very shallow for quite a way. The only area I could snorkel was a segregated area due to wind board things. Some some fish but would've preferred to go much deeper. In our opinion the food in main buffet was good. My wife is fussy & always found something. They have themed nights for the same night every week. The guys working in there get to know you & what you drink, bringing you them when you arrive. The al a carte was very hit & miss. We loved the American diner eating there twice & the Indian (Sari). The Chinese (Bamboo) I suppose was their interpretation on it. Crispy duck & pancakes was duck in batter with crepe. We did see a couple walk out. The main waiter took pictures. The Stone grill which you pay for, you pay for everything including drinks. The wife's fillet steak was good whereas my T-bone wasn't the best. I heard others moaning about same thing. One couple complained about everything. Do recommend the parade of shops just outside the shop on the right. Don't go to Waves across the road. If you looking for drinks & food other than in hotel I would recommend Arab Bucks. This is outside hotel, across the road & about 5 mins to the right.
