The homestay is in an excellent location, just a four or five-minute walk from the ancient town of Dukezong. The accommodation environment is quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of the ancient town. The facilities in the room are very new. When I had a bit of altitude sickness at night, I turned on the oxygen generator, which made me feel much better. What I was most satisfied with was the design of the room. The homestay guy Xiao Liu was very enthusiastic and provided one-stop butler service. I will still stay at this place next time I come to Shangri-La.

The location is very convenient, just a 5-minute walk to the Dafo Temple Prayer Wheel. There are many restaurants nearby, making it easy to find food. I booked the family room, and the underfloor heating is turned on after 5 PM. You will feel warm when you step on the floor. The family room has two beds. One of the beds has a heating pad, so you will feel warm while sleeping in it. The other bed does not have a heating pad, but there is a portable electric heater beside it. The whole room is very warm; even when the temperature outside drops below 0°C, I still felt warm indoors, especially due to the heated floor. The room also provides an oxygen device in case you need it. The breakfast is simple but good, and you can ask for refills if needed. The hotel staff are very friendly and even offer a free ride to the train station. This hotel is a great choice for foreign tourists exploring Dukezong Ancient City.

Although the arrangement in the room is not luxurious, it is very warm. Those small trinkets and decorations make people feel comfortable. The public areas are also designed in an interesting way. There is a small corner with a few chairs, where people can sit and daydream. It should be mentioned that there is an oxygen machine in the guesthouse. I didn't notice it at first, but I was surprised when I found it. Although it is not a rare thing, it feels that the host thought of it very carefully. It was really comfortable to stay in this guesthouse. I will definitely come again if I have a chance in the future.

They were always friendly, helpful and went out of their way to make sure my stay was perfect. The common areas of the host family are well designed and attractive. Whether it's a cosy lounge or a peaceful garden, there's always a place to relax. Living in Guizhen is a wonderful experience. The attention to detail, the warm reception, and the beautiful setting make it one I highly recommend to anyone visiting this magical part of Yunnan Province.
