Shangri-La Xiangqu Senba Jingsu Xiaoyuan

I had a really enjoyable stay here! I am a young female solo traveller, and this place was extremely safe and welcoming. The inn was easy to find and conveniently located close to the north entrance of the Dukezong Old Town, which I felt was very important. The rooms were also quaint and comfortable. What left the strongest impression on me was the owners of the inn (it’s a family-owned and -run business). They gave me tips for how to travel to different tourist sites around the city, and also prepared breakfast every morning. They also drove me to the train station when I left as well, which was very nice of them. Definitely worth the stay!

Wonderful host. We stayed for an extra night. It's closed to the North Gate in the old town. Short walk to the main old town and temple park.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It is located in the heart of the old city, a stone's throw away from restaurants, cafes and interesting museums and shops. The host is very friendly and made a big effort to make me feel very welcome. The room was in the traditional style and catered to all my needs. Furthermore, the hotel is in a quiet back street, so no problems with noise / getting to sleep. I have no hesitation recommending this place, in fact I plan to stay here again when I next visit.

The hotel is close to the North Gate, so it’s incredibly convenient. We initially had difficulty locating the hotel because it was off on a side street, but we were able to contact the hotel owner and he quickly came to help us with our luggage. Overall, the hotel is full of charm! The hotel owner was incredibly kind and provided us breakfast every morning (this included the butter tea, which was delicious!). The owner also had the fire on every evening when we returned to keep us warm. Our room had a heated blanket and a separate room heater to provide much needed warmth for the cold winter temperatures. The stairs leading to room were steep, but the owner helped us bring all our luggage to our rooms. We would come back to this hotel again if we were to return to Shangri-La!

一個人出來旅遊，訂到了這樣的寶藏民宿真的很開心，老闆娘超好看！人也超級好，住了三晚，早上都是吃的藏族特色，老闆娘煮的酥油茶真的很好喝❤️每次出門都會提醒我注意安全，回來的時候也會打招呼，還會招呼我一起吃飯，感覺和家裡一樣，很貼心，很温暖。 祝生意越來越好，以後一定會再來

香格里拉的草原和古城很美。這次住的是一個安心又放鬆的藏式傳統小院子。乾乾淨淨安安靜靜，離四方街和北門都很近，關鍵還有很好的老闆娘和好吃的素食，推薦🥰
