We stayed here for two nights and have an amazing experience here. Hotel decorated in ******* style and I love the garden. Room were so authentic and beautiful , we didn’t take picture of the biggest room but it was really pretty. Unfortunately we didn’t have breakfast . The owner and their staff are so friendly and helpful, he picked us up at the airport and dropped us off at train station. Recommend this hotel if you are visiting Shangri-La

The hosts are really helpful and nice. The location is very convenience. We all love the breakfast here, very nutrious and tasty.

We absolutely loved loved loved this place. The owners are so friendly (we admire their lives 🥰), the rooms are super comfortable, there were adorable cats everywhere, they would come in and tidy up everyday, water jugs were provided, the breakfast was lovely and healthy, there was coffee, the place was stylish, the city holds a special place in our heart, so many good things! Missing this place and shangri la already. 谢谢你们！

Cosy, comfortable stay! The hotel is run by a very lovely and hospitable couple who are always happy to help. They go above and beyond and make you feel at home. The room was very clean, comfortable and cosy. The property is beautiful, with a lot of art and a courtyard. Location is close to Gucheng (old town) and the bus stops that go to the scenic areas. The breakfast was yum and healthy. Bonus was all the beautiful cats for the soul.

The hosts were amazing! Really kind. The room was spacious and nice. If I would come again to Shangri la, for sure will be again here.😊😊😊

Everything was perfect. 8-9 minutes’ walk to city center, very quiet, room was beautiful and clean. Very large too! The family who owns the place is amazing, very very kind. Best place!

Our stay at the Deyang Mansion was the nicest during our whole trip through China. The lovely owners gave us a very warm welcome with delicious tea and friendly smiles. Communication went very smooth on WeChat and the room we booked was very clean, spacious, comforting and beautiful in traditional ******* style. The included breakfast was very delicious and fulfilling. The cats in the lobby made it even more wonderful. In short, the stay feels like you are visiting your beloved family and we would definitely come back if we have the chance.

A very local place, with the loveliest and most helpful hosts, plus a yummy breakfast. Not the closest one to the old town streets, but just a walk away (during nice weather!).

A 10-min walk from the old town center. Where the prayer wheel is. This unique ******* hotel is only 5km from airport and 6km from the Songzanlin Scenic Area. The Room is full of ******* paintings and carvings. It also offers free WIFI,terrestrial heat,and even a bathtub! Definitely Clean and homey. The hotel has a living-room style lobby with a stove. Pleasant to sit by a warm fire. Plus FREE breakfast in the morning and traditional dessert in the evening.

This guesthouse is very well located: in a silent street apart from the old town buzz but only a ten minutes walk from it. It''s a very nice property which is a lot more authentic than other hotels around. The room was clean, the beds comfy and it was heated which is still appreciable end April. Cats are playing all around also. But the true value of this guesthouse is the couple of owners; they are really really kind and helpful. We really enjoyed staying there, I definitely recommend it!

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights when we were in Shangri La and we were very happy with the rooms and especially the friendliness of the couple that runs the hotel. They invited us for tea and we had a chat around the traditional stove surrounded by their numerous sweet cats. They helped us out with many things such as travel advice, booking bus tickets, and taxis. The rooms are big and beautifully decorated. The heating works fine. The location is in the old town and within walking distance of the shops, restaurants, … Thank you for your good advice and all the help you provided!!
