Great stay! The hotel is in a quiet area but very close to the old town and halal restaurants—perfect for exploring and dining. The place was clean and comfortable. The host and staff were very kind and even helped us carry our luggage to the taxi point. Highly recommend!

A beautifully located classic ******* hotel in the heart of the city center with a friendly and hospitable host ❤️. Our room offered a lovely view of the city and was well-prepared for the cold winter days in March: heating, an electric blanket, and a clean bathroom with heat lamps and a heated toilet. Unfortunately, we canceled our stay after one night 😢: the mattress and pillows were very uncomfortable. The extremely hard mattress made it feel like you were sleeping on the protruding springs. If the hotel can improve this, it would be a fantastic place at an affordable rate!

Friendly staff. Apart from the water that took a while to drain at the shower area, everything functioned well in the room. Walking distance to the Dukezong Ancient Town with many food stores. I hailed Didi cab easily for the train station at the entrance of the ancient town.

The inn is near the gate around 5mnts walking distance, near to square market also, the room is clean and spacious, have electric blanket and portable heater so no worries if you travel in winter season, the owner can speak english and very helpful, they help me to book day trip to Balagezong without extra charges. the view around the inn very beautiful as you can see the town from second floor.

We had an amazing stay! The location is perfect and the heating in the cabin is good, even though it was snowing outside. The facilities are really modern too. The owners are super kind people who have helped us out with the booking of day trips, and they are really attentive overal. I would definitely recommend this place

The location is very strategic, close to the old town..I highly recommend staying here because the accommodation is very aesthetic, easy to find, the amenities is completed and close to the main road. Besides that, the owner is also very friendly and helpful.

The owner arranged for transport to pick us up from Shangrila train station and he waited by the main road to carry our luggages to the homestay. Honestly, if one is expecting a glamorous place, this isn't but it does give a quaint, homey, country vibe which we adored. It's located in Dukezong ancient city and touring the ancient city is a breeze. Dukezong is a hive of activity, plenty to see, eat and buy. There are communal dancing and performances at the city's several gathering squares. Let the music leads you.....

A simple yet sufficient accomodation option. We stayed in the middle of the town on our first two days in Shangri-la, which we found to be a bit noisy during the night time. Then we found this place, like some others mentioned, 5 minutes walking distance from the town square (四方街）yet secluded enough to give us the quietness much needed during night time. The owner 仁德君 is also a very helpful person. Overall, I would recommend this place if you are looking for conveniency, and quietness, a place with great views yet not too pricey, then this is definitely the go to place.

The best shower i have had in the last few months of my traveling also the couple who runs the place were super nice!

I love this place so much !!! The view from above is stunning and u feel like to live in a chalet . The owner provides disposable tower , heater and other toiletries . Also provided is oxygen tank which you need to pay when used. It cost 10y and still cheaper from the shop price. We experienced snow during our second day t at Shangrila, and it was so beautiful to see. If i ever come to shangrila again , i will stay at the same place. Very near to the main road so you can take taxi from there. Thanks to the owner who helps us to book and pay taxi from guesthouse to Shangrila Railway Station. He even offer help to call helpline when we want to change our train ticket and we add another one day at Shangrila. I miss shangrila..i love the vibes and food here... Thank you for the hospitality.

The place is up hill. For family who are bring a lot of stuff is challenging.
